Japanese kanjis have many readings. I, never have been abroad and been in Japan for 25yrs, am sometimes confused by kanjis. I'll give some tips for learning kanjis. Kanjis have 2 tipes of reading. One is kun-yomi(訓読み), which is basically used meaningfully and independently. The other is on-yomi(音読み), which is mostly used with another on-yomi connectively. Japanese don't use on-yomi independently. Let's take a example: 月 つき(訓読み)―月を見る(tuki wo miru) ※see the moon 月 げつ(音読み)―月末(getu-matu) ※the last of a month And Each kanji has a bushu(部首). You can google bushu and know what it is. It'd a bit help to learning it for intermediate learner. Hope it helps!!! 😄😄😄😄😄 And I wanna be more good at English. 😅😅

I hate that there could be more than 4 readings for one word. It makes it hard to remember. This video is helpful and I liked the examples.
@explicasongs8953
@explicasongs8953 6 жыл бұрын
There isn't more than one reading for a word, but for a kanji (a character). Focus on learning WORDS, not readings. The reading will come naturally as you learn the word and how to write them.

that's right. As you can see, Japanese is very troublesome because it is read in various ways with one kanji. Sometimes you have to decide how to read from the content of the text, which can lead to misunderstandings. However, since there are many different expressions for one thing, it is possible to flexibly express half-hearted feelings and things that cannot be expressed well. And if the expression has a sense, it can move the hearts of others. This is often the case with haiku and tanka. I like Japanese culture, including kanji. I want to learn more. And I think foreigners who like Japanese culture are wonderful. Also, I'm very happy that it seems like that.

Thank you so much! This is extremely well put together, and so pleasing, aesthetically! You should definitely stick to these aesthetics, sound and all. To me the ambient wasn't too loud, but I don't supposed turning it down a little bit would hurt, if other people find it too pronounced.

Great video. I can draw some easy/complex kanji using the correct stroke orders. But...I have a tough time to remember their readings/meanings and how they appear in sentences. This was very helpful using a lot of simple examples. Maybe,if I can request/suggest, just slow down the speed between the kanji ending and the next one starting a little? Thank you for sharing.

When we use left article as examples.. Hidari ni magaru - turn left And also sasetsu suru - turn left Both are correct.. then it means hidari and sa are the synonyms of left in nihongo.. Please also clarify on the following sentences.. kekka ni sa yuu suru (it influences the outcome) & kekka wo sa yuu suru.. (Influence the outcome) Are both same? Thanks from India..
