Hi everyone! It's Naoko. OHISASHIBURIDESU!
Thank you so so much for watching this video!!
Stay healthy and happy :)
Today, I spoke quite rapidly. How much were you all able to understand?
And when you catch a cold, what do you do?
At the end of the video, I mentioned, "Back in the day, when I had a fever, my mom used to wrap green onions around my neck." This is based on an old belief that putting green onions around your neck is beneficial when you have a cold. The component called "Allicin" in onions is said to be good for colds and throat pain. However, it's probably better to eat them than to wrap them around your neck. 😊
See you in the next video. Bye~

I mean that's where basically most of the learners' level is, not only for Japanese but when you learn a new language your vocabulary maybe much lesser than that of a native 1st grade kid, but yeah the proud feeling is real man, same here

thank you for these videos! i'm still only a beginner with japanese but thanks to the context i could understand most of what you said. its really helpful and fun!! to answer your questions, i dont actually get sick very often! at least its never a strong cold. but when i was young, my mom always gave me different foods to eat when i was sick, such as noodle soup, pretzel sticks and something called "zwieback" (its like dread bread that becomes a cracker)! and of course tea to drink. sometimes, if i had an upset stomach my dad gave me cola, but im not that sure if it actually helps... anyways, i hope you recover from your cold soon!
