Thank you for your deep thoughts - I think this is very unique, your talkings are never "flat", always touching some kind of live lessons, which I like very much. If you are walking through Kyoto or did just show anything else (like the ocean or trees), or hike or whatever - its always interesting, cause of the topic of your talks.

Good video! I think you struck a good balance between (relatively) simple, comprehensible Japanese that is also meaningful and insightful. I found your content only recently but I’ve found much enjoyment in using your videos for immersion! BTW, out of curiosity, what JLPT level would you classify this video as?

I would say N3 :) I'm using simple N4 grammar too, but I use N3 vocab and grammar too :)

Please make more videos like this! I always watch your videos to practice my kanji reading and also shadowing. I can say it made a lot of difference on how I express myself in Japanese. Thanks a lot! ❤

I've heard about the idiom before but never knew the meaning. I finally have the word that describe the things that happened in my life as sometimes I meet new people. And someone once told me that the people you met (in these events), you probably won't meet them again. It's good to know that there are a phrase that explains this concept.

This is a great podcast . It's easy to listen and practise for shadowing. This helped me a lot , Thank you senesei
Thank you for such a useful and insightful video. I think this concept you mention doesn't exist in my country. People here tend to place value mostly on people who become part of your life in some way. But the saying is totally right. Someone you meet only once can still leave a positive mark in your life. ありがとう ございます。
Love to learn a bit more about Japanese culture. This style of video pleases me a lot!

I enjoyed this video very much. Right now, I am in Japan, in Sanjo, next to Niigata. My wife and I have been in Japan for almost 3weeks. Having a great time. I have been able to speak with many people. Today, we met a young lady at the TsubameSanjo eki who spoke English very well. Definitely Ichigo-ichiai.
I went here November 2022. The autumn leaves were beautiful.

Thank you for yet another though provoking video! I recently watched a movie called "Groundhog Day", and it made me think about the importance of first encounters. The film has an interesting take on the idea of Ichigo Ichie, I highly recommend you watch it if you get the chance!
Thank you for sharing what you thought 😆 will make more 😊
