I'm half British/Japanese and I was born and raised in London but everytime I go to Japan, I make the most of the makeup because the makeup is so pretty. I love Canmake, Cezanne and Kate. I like their eyeshadow palettes. Loved this video x

Thanks for this video Tina! It's always so refreshing to watch someone who's "real". I find a lot of KZbinrs get so caught up in the lifestyle, and instead of producing actual informative videos, they start mass producing them and turn their videos into ads. You're so refreshing to watch, it's like sitting down and chatting with a friend. Keep up the great work!

I try to just be 'me' even on camera and for me it feels like I am chatting with you guys too so I am glad you see it that way also ☺️💕 x

Bit of useless trivia : Cezanne was a famous French painter. Your base looks flawless,maybe I need to try more Japanese foundations,the issue is it's hard to find to right shade of pale.
@TinaTanakaHarris5 жыл бұрын
I love useless trivia! haha thanks for the info 😉 I'm liking the foundation more and more every time I use it! but yeah it can be hard with the colours in Japan 😕

That Kate mascara looks great. I'm a die hard Dejavu user but I'm pretty keen to try it.

I've never used Japanese makeup before, when I lived in Japan I bought Western brands like Mac and Urban Decay. Although I remember I bought a nice liquid eyeliner and mascara which were fantastic from Canmake, which were good quality and cheap too!
@TinaTanakaHarris5 жыл бұрын
a lot of makeup is japan is considered more 'natural' - so i like base makeup and stuff but eyeshadow/lips and that I usually still like western brands!

Awwwww thankyouuu! 😍 My accent is from Australia haha 🇦🇺
@GleefulViolin4 жыл бұрын
@@TinaTanakaHarris I can tell as much it's Australian accent 😆😆 I mean, is it because you were born and raised in Aussie, or because you have been living a long time there? 😮😮 Probably.. both..? Nevermind, I'm just curious 😁😁
@TinaTanakaHarris4 жыл бұрын
Gleeful Violin maybe you know now that you’ve seen my other video haha but I was born in japan and moved to AUS when I was 3! 😊

Can you recommend me a foundation for my dry skin? Currently using Kate powder foundation and as we all know it is kinda dry for dry skin :c thanks
@TinaTanakaHarris4 жыл бұрын
Yes - a powder can definitely be drying; try a cream or cushion foundation it will definitely be more beneficial for dry skin 😊

Really nice review video :) An observation - at some points in the video you turn your head at an angle which makes it a lot easier to see your makeup application as the mirror you're holding isn't blocking your face. Perhaps you could set your camera up at an angle or hold your mirror at an angle for your next tutorial? Thank you!

Carina YOU ARE SO RIGHT. I notice it even when I am editing myself 🤦🏻♀️ I am really sorry - I am still not used to filming tutorials but will try do better next time!! x

How long does it last the excel ? ❤️
@TinaTanakaHarris5 жыл бұрын
I am still testing it and haven't worn it too many times but it tends to hold up pretty decently! and even when it starts to wear off - it wears in a good way if you get what I mean? like not cakey 😊
@BelleMamaDesu5 жыл бұрын
Tina Tanaka Harris thakk youu but if your going to choose between your favorite maybelline which one is the best?
@TinaTanakaHarris5 жыл бұрын
Ourfamily Goals I would choose the maybelline one for more coverage + slightly more matte look. If you like more of a dewy look though I would go for the excel! They are both great though 😆💕
