Just beautiful, and how nice to see hand tools being used..

Beautiful work. This looks like a fun project. While I love how you did everything with hand tools, I'd hate to imagine what sort of horrible mess I'd make if I tried to avoid power tools.

The book also displays several designs and descriptions on the materials used for various woodworking processes and also the guidelines on completing various procedures appropriately. In other words, I`m happy using this book, especially in the process of learning about wood working.?

Thank you for sharing this, lovely looking boxes and love that it showing using hand tools, instead of the usual videos showing using power tools, I am going to have a go at making one of these. I also like the contrasting woods, I have tried Danish oil and I prefer OSMO poly-lux oil finished with beeswax using 0000 wire wool and then buffed up. Great craftsmanship 👍
@AdrianPreda5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I get pretty decent result with the danish also, 2-3 coats and one with Reinesance wax. These Osmo finishes that you have in NA they are hard to get in EU. Although many shops deliver overseas when it comes to chemicals it's a little bit hard cause they are considered flamable etc and many usual carriers like dhl, ups etc dont ship them

*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is a fantastic website about wood working. I took various classes as well as finished a one year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is much better than any book I worked out of during those lessons. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?

The auger bit isn't on your list of tools, either here or on your website. There's a comment below mentioning Lee Valley's "minis" but the shank doesn't match what I've seen there. Would you reply with a link? Excellent video, by the way: relaxing and promotes high-quality work rather than the "good enough" stuff I see nearly everywhere else. Peace.
@AdrianPreda5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I forgot about that, cause I use it so rarely :) Look for "kuri auger drill/set", until I manage to upadate my list, and it will point you to several stores. What you mean by shank on the mini plane? The blade?
@JoelWetzel5 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianPreda Thank you for the reply. No, the shank of the auger bit didn't match the shank of any bits Lee Valley sells; I thought Le PicBois' comment was referencing the bit rather than the plane.
@AdrianPreda5 жыл бұрын
@@JoelWetzel Ah no, the bit is other stuff. It is standard 1/4" shank
