Video from a recent Japan trip; Two guys from U-Min do an an after comp guest performance set. While I realize that many of you will not make it through the entire video due to the slow start and super technical style, it it actually well worth a full watching. They have a whole opera here, with great pacing, styles, changing themes, and a nice finish.

Kikku has propably the greatest locking skills I've ever saw... he doesn't move himself like a robot, he move himself like a crappy robot in an old movie with very low framerate... it's amazing, nobody does it like him.

I have to leave another comment, I think that art is kept alive through progression and this is such a perfect example. I wouldn't normally use the word beautiful to describe popping but these guys have really gone beyond the expectations of what body popping is. Truly inspiring.

these are 2 of the members from the dance crew in the latest Missy Elliot Video. The guy with the shades is the guy who always wears the top hat. Group name is "Woomin" or "Umin"

The song before the chimes at the end is called "Dragnet '88", also by Art of Noise. Good luck finding the songs with the chimes, I'm curious what they are, too.

It is U-Min, no question. Thanks for the info! After reading up more about them, and watching their other stuff, I gotta say they have actually managed to make popping into an art in the way Stomp did percussion. The four man group has evolved popping into an art far beyond what it is here in the US. Search U-Min for tons more vids from these guys.

Yes, as well as the very last song (the music box ones). Instrumental songs are always difficult to find since you obviously can't just google the lyrics. There is also another song they play after "Dragnet '88" and before the music box song at the end. Not sure its title, though.

I finally found the music box version of Takumi. Had to search through Japanese websites to find it since Google was only giving me links to KZbin or the piano version. Even then was it hard, all the websites were trying to sell you the CD and stuff, and the fact that I don't know any Japanese at was didn't help either. But anyways I found it.
