Actually lot of people outside of India don't know that India is probably the most diverse country ethnically and racially. There are four major different races living in India: Caucasoid (North Indians), Dravidian or Australoid(South Indians), Mongoloid (Northeast Indians) and Negroid (Andamanese). depends on the region of northeast. people from arunachal, sikkim, and nagaland look the closest to east asians. rest of northeast looks more se asian or mainland indian mixed.

Oh we NE people value sports just like the way you explained how Japanese people values it 😊.. team spirit, function as a responsible citizens in the society, discipline and all 😊😊 i am from the NE state of Nagaland and believe me,some of us( Nagas and Japanese) have similar sounding names too 🤣🤣 and on a serious note,During WW2 the Japanese troops came here ,it was a time of war and suffering and sadly The Japanese troops lost the war but we locals never forget about them,They treated us very good with respect,and we all have a mutual respect and brotherhood. Like,from what I heard from a story ,At first Both sides got a shock because they all look similar 🤣🤣 and the British allied troops mistook some local villagers as The Japanese troops and shot at them too.

While this is all good, I refuse to believe the Japanese were shocked by the Naga people looking Mongoloid, simply because Japanese were already invading Burma and South-East Asia, they would have been used to other Mongoloid races living around the area. And Nagaland is just a stone throw's away from Burma, where my Grand-uncle served as a Forest Ranger.

In upper Assam, the ethnic ppl of the state who are called Assamese ppl are very humble,gentle in their talks mostly and do a have a great hospitality towards guests.... I sometimes don't pay the bills iof the shop instantly and the shopkeepers in here are like "ok pay me later" means the level of trust and the honesty of the ppl towards each other is very very high!

Hey Nami! I am from *Odisha* , it's also called as "India's best kept secret". Odisha has so much resources, that it can thrive as a country on it's own, but, due to poor governance and corrupt people in administration, it isn't seeing much developments. But, you will find the very essence of mother nature here, ancient temples, gardens, places. People are also very nice, kind, and sweet.
