Hi, I live in Indonesia profesionally I am an engineer, but I am from Assam. Indonesia is my second home and I love Indonesia and surprise to feel at home in Indonesia because I look like Indonesian.......Every time I explore KZbin about India, especially North East India, I feel a wave of relief seeing mainland Indians beginning to appreciate our culture, our traditional values. Historically, we've faced stereotypes-being seen as "Chinese-looking" or having English pronunciations, is absolutely different than Indian Despite we have good educational institutions,for higher studies etc etc, but main land Indian try to take the cake jobs ( it's my way of saying cake jobs) and well educated NE people bound to take the steps of exploring city's for jobs and exposure to advancement of life. But unfortunately NE people land up working as waiters or shopping malls sales guys or working at saloons.... Ah they're plenty of resentment's . While friendships are formed, there's often an air of superiority in body language. It's abusing and disheartening at the same time. Many still believe that North East people are unworthy of marriage / relationship to a main land India or get a good elite jobs despite we are highly literate.due to superficial traits. A heartfelt thank you to all the KZbinrs from South East Asia for enlightening the minds and bridging this gap to limelight. Main land Indian wake up change your mind..
