ある日ちゅがくせいのみつきは、がっこうのかえりみちでふとたちどまった。 One day, the junior high school student Mitsuki suddenly stopped on her way home from school. かのじょはそらをみあげ、あまいかおりがするパンやのまえでたちつくしていました。 She looked up at the sky and stood still in front of the bakery with a sweet aroma. ちいさなみせのなかからはパンのうつくしいかおりがしていました。 The small shop was filled with the beautiful smell of bread. みつきはふかくいきをしました。 Mitsuki took a deep breath. かのじょのゆめはパンしょくにんになることでした。 Her dream was to become a baker. みつきはいつものようにいえにかえり、じぶんのちいさなキツチンでパンをやきました。 As usual, Mitsuki returned home and baked bread in her small kitchen. パンをつくることはかのじょにとってしあわせなじかんでした。 Making bread was a happy time for her. かのじょはいつも、すばらしいパンやになら日をゆめみていました。 She always dreamed of becoming a wonderful baker. しかし、ちいさんはゆめをかなえることがむずかしいとかんじていました。 However, she felt that it was difficult to make her dream come true. かのじょのかぞくはお金がたりため、かのじょがパンしょくにんになることをのぞんでいませんでした。 Her family didn't have enough money, and they didn't want her to become a baker. みつきはおちこんでいましたが、かのじょのこころはあきらめませんでした。 Mitsuki was downcast, but her heart didn't give up. ある日、がっこうのせんせいがみつきにいいました。 One day, her teacher at school said to her, みつき、きみのパン、ほんとうにおいしいよ。 "Mitsuki, your bread is really delicious. きみはしょうらい、すばらしいパンやになることができるよ。 You can become a wonderful baker in the future." そのことばで、みつきのここるはふたたびきぼうにみちました。 With those words, Mitsuki's heart was filled with hope once again. みつきはけっしんしました。 Mitsuki has made a decision (made up her mind). かのじょはゆめをおいかけるにとをやめませんでした。 ?-She didn't stop pursuing her dreams. かのじょはまいにちパンをやき、きじゅつをみにつけました。 She baked bread every day and acquired the skill. かのじょのまわりのひとびとは、かのじょのどりょくをみて、かのじょをしえんしました。 The people around her, after seeing her efforts, supported her. そして、ある日、みつきはみちのゆうめいなパンやではたらくきかいをてにいれました。 And then, one day, Mitsuki got the opportunity to work at Michi's famous bakery. かのじょはよろこびとこうふんでいっぱいでした。 She was filled with joy and excitement. かのじょのゆめがついにかなったのです。 Her dream has finally come true. パンやではたらくことはみつきにとってゆめのようなじかんでした。 Working at the bakery was like a dream come true for Mitsuki. かのじょはまいにちおいしいパンをやき、ひとびとをしあわせにすることができました。 She baked delicious bread every day and made people happy. (することができました-was able to) かのじょはじぶんのゆめをおいもとめ、それをじつげんすることができたことにほこりをかんじました。 She felt proud to have pursued her dream and been able to realize it. そして、みつきはじぶんのちいさなパンやをひらくことができました。 And then, Mitsuki was able to open her own little bakery. まちのひとびとはみつきのパンをあいし、かのじょのみせはだいせいこうをおさめました。 The people of the town love Mitsuki's bread, and her shop achieved great success. みつきはえがおでてんないをみわたしました。 Mitsuki looked around the store with a smile. かのじょはゆめをおいたけ、それをじつげんすることができたことにかんしゃしていました。 She was grateful that she was able to pursue her dream and make it a reality. かのじょのこころはしあわせでみたされました。 Her heart was filled with happiness. そして、みつきはふたたびあたらしいゆめをみることができました。 And then, Mitsuki was able to dream a new dream once again. Don't judge too harshly. My 3rd month learning Japanese. This helps me identify the individual words. If you find a typo let me know and I'll fix it. Thx.

This was good thank you. The story was sweet, and the artwork was cute. I had thoughts to try and do something similar one day once my Japanese is better. I think keeping the speed as is would be fine, since as mentioned by someone else you can always change the playback speed. Listening slowly definitely make it easier to understand, but it is also important to get used to natural conversation speed. The only minor detractor for me was that a couple of the English translations seemed slightly off to me. For example chuusgakusei to high school student seemed mistranslated. Other times the translation wasn't wrong, and in English it was probably the most natural way to say it, but as a learning tool I think a more literal translation would be better. Overall very good though and I intend to watch the rest of the videos. Thank you

Thank you for your sincere comment! I didn't notice there was a translational mistake,, but I have removed the English audio in recent videos, so please rest assured that there will be no such mistakes! I’m happy to support your growth.
@omirkhanauezkhanov82157 ай бұрын
To be really beginner friendly the first part should have both Japanese and English text and there is no need at all to read the translation in English. It is not American English lessons. Also, please, remove the music or make its volume really low, it is distracting. Please, make Japanese text much bigger, we are here to learn Japanese and not to oogle at nice pictures. The second part could go without English text, but with Japanese text without pronounciation assistance in hiragana. And finally the third part just just Japanese. Perhaps could add still text in Japanese but very small font size this time. Otherwise your content is very good. Thanks a lot for your great efforts. ❤🙂👍

I really like what you are doing, and I think this is a good listening practice. However, this is clearly NOT N5-N4 beginner level. You should relabel this video as INTERMEDIATE N3 level listening practice. Those who are at an N5-N4 level will get discouraged if they believe they should be able to understand this.
@nakanosmb2u57 ай бұрын
Yes that’s right! It’s way too fast for N5-4 at 75% speed it’s better.

N3 here, i do have some difficulties understanding and catching some of the sentences haha but then again, my listening has always been bad, even with my own native languages
@aronhelios17344 ай бұрын
Yeah, this is solid N4 level, going to N3 (lots of verbs are from N3, but it is not impossible for N4 listeners to understand this, for N5 this is pretty difficult). It is indeed too fast spoken, but that's the google translate voice, it is like that with computers. If you need slower stuff, search for real people speaking, it is better. If you have lots of trouble with this, search for bedtime stories or children stories/folk tales like Kasajizou (かさじぞう - 笠地蔵).
