I’ve found steaming/boiling/microwaving the potatoes till craggly edges (not falling apart!) and then letting them dry and cool in the fridge before deep frying make such delicious crispy fries! Thank you for the great recipes!

I lived in Japan. Japanese eat fruit in season to save money. They eat small amounts of fruit. After a meal they may use 2 apples for 4 people. Fruit is served sliced. There is special, very expensive fruit used only for gift giving. That has a crazy high price! Daily fruit costs 1 euro for 1 apple or orange or banana. I bought 250g strawberries 1 month ago in Japan for 3 euro and a bag of 4 big tangerines for 3,5 eur. Italy has beautiful fruits and vegetables for a good price. In the USA our fruit fruit and vegetables look pretty but have zero taste. 😔

I eat affordable fruits such as apples, bananas, and mandarin oranges. Japanese fruits that are in season are very delicious. As mentioned in the comments, the amount of fruit eaten in Japan may be less than in other countries.

I really enjoy your channel but see you have slipped into the bad practice of a paid promotion without telling the viewers. A notice should be posted.
