That's okay Martina. Been there done that. When I was 5 years old and had no shame I wanted to be a dog so bad I shit on my neighbor's front yard. Which also turned out to be my dad's favorite story to tell about me whenever I brought friends, boyfriends, and eventual future husband to the house.

Omg. This reminds me of my little sister, who when she was a toddler used to exact revenge on our mother for imposing heinous rules, like 'no you may not eat every biscuit in the jar' or 'no, you can't take your sister's puzzle and bury individual pieces all over the yard', by taking a dump in the corner of the toilet room. The only other family member who took strategic revenge-dumps in places was our cat.

@@eatyourkimchi Lol, thank you. I guess if those friends stuck around after that it meant that they were keepers. And that when my husband first heard it and stuck around I put a ring on it. Oddly enough it wasn't the last time I did that. There was a teacher in middle school who was just awful. Awful teacher, awful person. I am 32 years old and to this day, do not regret what I left on her door step at random times of the year in 1998.

Shipocalyps 😂 Oh man. I relate. So I’m lactose intolerant, and 2 years ago, I worked an hour and 15 minutes away from where I lived. During this drive there were no gas stations for the last 45 minutes. One morning, in a sleep frazzled state, I made my coffee with what I thought was my non-dairy creamer. Spoiler: it wasn’t. I drove the first 20 minutes just fine. Then it hit me. I was running behind by 5 minutes, and I didn’t want to stop until I got to my job. I thought I could handle it. I was 15 minutes into the no gas stations “leg” of my journey, sweating... I tried. And then I realized the dire nature of things, so I u- turned in the middle of a highway (ran off the road a-little) and raced for the nearest gas station like the demons of hell were coming for me.... It was the most intense drive of my life. When I got to the gas station, an attendant was just about to open the bathroom door and clean it. I scared the attendant by racing through the store and grabbing the door handle right as he was reaching for it. We said nothing to each other, I just stared him down as I opened and closed the door behind me. Victory was mine that day, but it was a close call.

I love your poop story. I have a similar oh-no-I'm-stuck story from Japan. My husband and I visited Japan and spent a week in Tokyo and then a week in Kyoto. We bought a tourist JR pass for the trains and took them everywhere in Tokyo, but then Kyoto didn't have as many JR pass friendly options on the north east side. So we bought a bus pass one day and decided to hit up all the key tourist attractions on a bus route. We ended the day in Gion and found a well rated steak house to have an expensive wagyu dinner for our last meal in Japan. It was delicious, but afterward a bunch of things happened at once: 1.) we were standing at a bus stop with a bunch of other foreigners trying to figure out if the buses had stopped visiting this stop for the night as bus after bus after bus kept passing us; 2.) my body doesn't do well with digesting red meat even though I looooove steak and it should get on the same page as me; and 3.) a day of bus riding motion sickness was finally catching up with me and coupled with the meat-sweats, I felt like I was going to blow. In the US, I could just find a bush to blow chunks behind and be fine until the next wave, which would probably give me enough time to figure out the bus and get home... but in Kyoto, every bush is part of a shrine or a garden or a monument... so that seemed like a bad idea. Instead, we hailed a cab, showed him address/name of our hotel, and prayed that he'd get there in time. The more lost he got, the more motion sick I got. I put the window down, I prayed, I breathed slowly, I swallowed, I fanned my face, I did everything I could think of while my husband tried to point out which streets he should take to zigzag to our hidden hotel. I was stuck in this taxi, unsure of what the polite protocol is for publicly vomiting in Japan. Finally, I said heck with it, handed my husband the souvenirs from a plastic shopping bag I'd been carrying, and as silently as I could, vomited in the back seat of a Japanese taxi. I held it closed as tightly as I could so the smell of the rejected $250 wagyu steak dinner wouldn't escape. Five minutes later we pulled up in front of our hotel and I deposit my barf bag in the outside trash bin. We have no idea if the taxi driver was aware of my gut purging in the back of his car because it was so loud with the windows down and I was the stealthiest vomitter ever, but I'm still mortified to this day.

There almond, oat, soy, lactose free milk, and various other nut (but I never seen those offer) that can be sub for milk in ice cream, creamer, but I haven't tried it in food. I am sure they will remove or sub it if you ask if you live in America. I use to not be able o drink frappuccino or eat ice cream . When you fry something the moisture contained within the item immediately turns to steam in the hot oil. The steam wants to force its way out of the food, and doing so it creates a barrier to the oil. That's why food is moist inside the crispy batter. Food left in the fryer too long, or an oil that is too old or not hot enough will become greasy because the oil will be able to force its way into the food because of lack of steam.

For some reason an embarrassing poop story was the laugh I didn’t know I needed today. I just got a new diagnosis from a new doctor and she didn’t explain anything and I’m so confused and frustrated 😪 But I got to watch Simon and Martina!!

Oh god this was probably the best halloween story I heard this year! I am crying... And I mean, my lactose intolerance put me in a couple of similar situations so I too am familiar with the struggle, but never have I heard it so well told. Amazing!

My second video...I'm so hooked. The fun you two have is infectious! I will have to binge watch and subscribe. The twist here is I learn great things which is why I came. This very well could be my new favorite You Tube address! FANTASTIC.......... 🏆🏆🏆 HAHA 👍

The whole video was amazing, but the outro OMG, soooo goood! Even if I've already heard the story before in podcast format waaaay back in Pop Asia, this time with the storytelling was fantastic! One time I was at the beach, vaccation time, but it was an island and there were no restaurant or public toillets there, and I had to wait like 5 hours to leave. Soooo I had 3 options: shit myself, shit on the ocean (wich was not an real option, cuz the water was so transparent and pretty), or hold it until the end of the tour like the boss that I'm! I feel you, Martina, I feel you!

As someone who has had their gallbladder removed, I understand that last story ALL TOO WELL!! 😧😂 Gotta watch the greasy foods. I love all the noms but the noms don't always like me back. Great video guys! 🤗🤗🤗 (p.s. now that the weather has gotten cooler, it's time to bust out my pink EYK sweater.)

My mom had her gallbladder removed too! I remember before she removed it, she was having major problems with things like cream in her coffee or something made with butter and it took us ages to make the connection between the fats and her toilet emergencies.

@@eatyourkimchi yes! I was already lactose intolerant before but after the surgery to remove my gallbladder, going to the bathroom became an urgent task. When we travel by plane, I have to make sure that we don't eat anything greasy or with dairy or it's going to be reminiscent of your tunnel story. 😂

I had the post-gallbladder removal potty issues before I had mine out! It was so messed up with stones that it didn’t function right. So after I had it removed....I was already used to the struggle of fatty foods sending me right to the bathroom.

Martina: As always love each and every video. For those of us who suffer w/ bathroom issues I commend you. It is so difficult. You never know when you are going to have an attack. I had an experience similar to yours but unfortunately mine did not end so well. We laugh about it now, but was so humiliating then.

Loved the video guys! Made the mistake of watching it before eating and now I am really hungry. Also, I could be wrong but I am pretty sure I remember Martina sharing the same story on one of their podcasts awhile ago.

That story at the end was super relatable!! I once ran into some random hotel in TO to find the bathrooms after some tonkatsu ramen 😂😂 the sweaty car rides are the worst by fiancee is so good at dealing with me too and my poop adventures I was actually wondering what digestive tea you take, I think I remember seeing it in your packing video and always wondered. Love you guys so much!!❤️❤️❤️
