Thank you for this lovely video. My mom grew up on Cape Breton Island, in Canada, and her family fished for lobsters. They would catch Mackerel for baiting the lobster traps, and also they would prepare it and eat it: fried with boiled potatoes and canned peas and carrots. This summer I caught Mackerel with my father and brought it home to mom and we ate it like she did growing up. It is a very good a fatty fish.

Argentina has a lot of sea coast, but most of our food is meat-based. however, a popular sea dish here is fried hake fillet breaded in flour and egg, with mashed potatoes or a simple salad. I like to dress it with a bit of lemon juice and a mix of mayo with mustard ^_^

It looks so delicious. The hake is not common in japan. But, I like fried dish, so i definitely like it! Thank you for teaching me😁

Hello! Thank you for finding my channel and your compliment😁. I'm so glad!! Although I just googled, is hamburger originated in Germany? In Japan., hamburger steak is very popular and the name is derived from Hamburg! If it's correct, I love it! I wish too, my friend.

@@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine Hey! Yes you're right, the hamburger beefsteak which is very popular in japan has some origin from Hamburg, Germany (I think from the 19th century). I haven't had hamburger beefsteak from japan yet sadly, but I bet it's really good!

As always your food looks so tasty and I love the pretty dishes you use when plating. I'm sure you've got several videos planned ahead so there is no rush for this request, but could you possibly share some daikon recipes? I tried to use an online recipe for pickled daikon and it didn't turn out well 🥲 I really want to use Daikon more in my cooking so I'd love any or all recipes that feature daikon that you'd like to share! Thank you, Ryusei-san and keep up the great work!

Thank you for watching as always! You love the dishes! I love them too 😊 Of course, I’ll definitely make daikon recipes in the future! What kind of pickled did you try? Sweet vinegar pickle? Thank you! I keep making videos😉 You’ll come to Japan next month!!

@@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine It must have taken you a while to collect all of the dishes you use, they're very pretty 😄 Umm the recipe used rice vinegar, sugar, and salt to pickle the Daikon. I'm not sure if the recipe just had me use bad quantities or what but it was extremely sour for some reason. I like sour but that was too much so if you have a better recipe I'd love to know it! And yes!! We'll be in Japan starting Nov 10th. I'm SOOOO excited!! 😆😆😆

Yes, it takes much time and money, but I like to collect dishes. I went to buy dishes to famous places too! OK! I understand. That recipe is very traditional and popular. I'll do it! That's nice! The weather in November is really good and you'll enjoy autumn and winter food at the same time😊 If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! I answer them as possible!!

@@kyodokan.japanese.cuisine Thank you, I will look forward to the recipe! Take your time though, I like all of your videos so there is no rush. Yes I am really looking forward to the cuisine. Hopefully there will be lots of persimmon dishes 🤤 and I'm also really excited to try Taiyaki. Do you have a favorite place to get Taiyaki from? And we chose November specifically so we could see the pretty autumn leaves when we go to Kyoto. I'm excited to see the view from Kiyomizu-dera 🥰 Oh... Actually have you visited Kyoto?
