Cool! After the video about the 10 best freestyle performances, we discussed the European and Asian freestyle schools in the Russian-speaking community. We also came to the conclusion that Japanese freestyle is more like figure skating in spirit and is more danceable, but with all its incredible elegance it tends to be monotonous. Freestylers from Europe are distinguished by their great ingenuity and craving for performing complex tricks and combinations of them, however, the purity and smoothness of the performance often fails. It was incredibly interesting to watch this interview. Thank you so much for that.

Thank you so much for your comment, it's really great to see that my videos lead to talk and discuss about unicycle culture and has an impact on the unicycle community further than germany!

Amazing video. The team routines are incredible! I'm really bad at freestyle, as I don't do it much, but I love watching it. I think it would be cool to hear Lea Opitz give pointers on trials, or Janna Wolfarth talk about doing circus performances. I learned pretty quickly that being able to jump doesn't mean you can do trials, and knowing tricks doesn't mean you can put on a show. It would be interesting to hear how they developed their craft and got to the next level. I'm sure the answer is "a lot of work and practice" in both cases. Whatever comes next, I'm sure it will be inspiring. Thanks for all the great videos (especially the tutorials!)

Great Idea! Thought of Janna too and Lea for Trials is a really great idea too. Do you have wishes for more international riders too? Because I want to show differences in different contrys too!

@@UnicycleSchool Well, I only know of the riders I've enjoyed watching on Facebook and KZbin, but there are a few international suggestions that would be cool to see. Zoe Hebinger in France, Driss Zriouli and the Zagho family in Morocco, Rani and Joy in South Korea (they are a young brother and sister team who's mother does their posts under 'RJ ChaCha' I think. I don't speak Korean, so I'm not sure), Peddi O' Braien in Russia, Eli Brill and Dani Chevalier in the USA, and Roos Seegers in the Netherlands. I don't actually know any of these folks, I just get a kick out of watching their work and think it would be neat to hear them discuss their processes.

Just riding and doing simple tricks like idling, backwards or SIF (which are my skills) is nothing compared to these amazing riders. They ride one foot, no foot,...etc. It's beyond normal unicycle riding, and the term "freestyle" is too humble a description. As a rider, I know I can never get to that level of control.
