The Japanese were shocked during the entire war. Just perpetual picachu faces everywhere.

It is fascinating to hear the Japanese perspective of the war.

Sir, Thank you for your feedback. We also have another series on Okinawa, featuring perspectives from both the Japanese and American sides. We hope you'll enjoy that one as well.

I wonder if the AI will ever figure out that Sake is pronounced Sake, not sake?
@Bob.W.4 ай бұрын
Probably not.

AI doesn’t “figure” things out. No program, however sophisticated, possesses intelligence like we or a chimp or even a border collie does. So “artificial intelligence” is actually a misnomer.

I love history, this side of the story was amazing.

The overarching characteristic of the Japanese military seems to be a sense of fatalism. From mid '43 onward they knew they were beaten, but simply kept fighting because they didn't know how to do anything else. The narrator speaks of how tired the admirals were, but how different would any potential replacement have felt?

Hate these AI productions with their lack of correct pronunciations. It's "sah kay" not "sake". 🙄
