Wonderful video, excellent craftmanship. The music is not necessary. Just the sounds of the woodworking is enough.

The shoji screens are beautiful. I live in South Africa and teach the Japanese abacus, known as soroban. My new centre would look very nice with shoji screens, but I will probably need to find a good carpenter and show them this video.

Thanks for the comment! SOROBAN is great. In Japan, young people cannot use soroban. I am very happy if this channel can be a hint for the production.

Thanks for the comment. The same lattice is assembled together. Place paper on top between the lattice and the lattice.

Hi. Tx for a lovely video. Beautiful craftsmanship. Tell me, does the other side of the door remain with only the paper? Love the wheels that you used. Please do share where to get both the paper & the wheels please. Tx in advance from South Africa✌

Hey, thanks for your comment.That's right. The other side of the door has only paper on it. The Japanese hardware I use will be available on this channel someday if there are enough requests.

can i ask sir.. if it is ok on Outdoor for Screen at terrace?
@samurai-woodworker
@samurai-woodworker 10 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, shoji screens cannot be used outdoors. This is because when they get wet in the rain, the paper of the shoji will peel off.
