@@BLOODKINGbro I think I read somewhere that social insects don't really identify with their colony until after pupating. Then they take on the scents of their fellow workers, sort of pledging allegiance to the colony. Red never met her queen so she never identified with a colony. I think that's why the queen of the new colony protected Red, she could tell Red wasn't in a colony and would probably join up

@@Glees_d1dig I'm sorry. I mistated that the hornet quant colony will develop so fast. What's the first workers comabout? Animals expect to the point that are just simply absorb or wipe out. The wasp colony next to it. Doesn't matter how many workers the wasps put out. The hornets will out produce them The population for the wasp colony will never exceed forty or fifty wasps The hornet colony could easily exceed 500 workers.The Wasps will not stand a chance.They will be captured.They will be eaten and fed to the larvae of the larve It's inevitable

It seems wasps are much more polite in Japan than in New Jersey. I go near a nest in New Jersey even with an offering of food and the bloody bee tries to sting me or maybe I’m not polite enough. I find your channel quite fascinating thank you for letting uspeek over your shoulder.

This was fascinating. I'm astounded to see not only a queen and workers accept a stranger to their hive, but for that new worker to immediately begin contributing to the new nest! Really makes me think of wasps differently.

I dislike wasps just from previous encounters and nests freak me out a lot. The fact I’m watching this all the way through is insanely fascinating and haven’t been freaked out once. Hell I even felt bad for Queen Sapphire, had to abandon her babies.

Very interesting video. It was surprising that Red was welcomed into another queens nest. Would like to see more about these wasps, I was never able to just watch them like that. The ones here in the Chicago Illinois area of the USA are more defensive and short tempered.

Шершни крупнее и гораздо сильнее ос боюсь Сапфир была ужалена шершнем и умерла не далеко от улья. Мать Рубина так же вероятнее всего погибла либо от рук человека либо от насекомых.
