This is the type of place i like to eat. It is definitely a better experience than 5-star restaurants and many times better tasting food

I visited Hyoutan just over a week ago. The mentaiko stuffed chicken wings and sardines were delicious, as was the butter-grilled scallops. Lots of friendly locals too, especially compared to other yatai stalls in the southern tip of Nakasu.

I was born and raised in Hawaii but now live in a food wasteland. Your exquisite fresh seafood and other delicacies reminded me of why Japanese food has always been my all time favorite. Arigato gozai mas. Suffering in New Mexico

I wonder if that stall came with an instruction manual.

Loves the way she manhandles the food and give them an extra slapping.

It’s a lot of work putting this food stand up n taking it apart every day. Guess it’s common in Asian.

Did they wash their hands and not see any water, the food looks good but I am not really a shellfish person or sea fish.
