The maid girls that show up even in the bad weather are the hardest workers. It's their job, and they're very serious about it. God bless 'em! And thank you, JE, as always!
@supertuesday6008 ай бұрын
So what do they do? What's their job scope??
@Fate8628 ай бұрын
@@supertuesday600 Pretty much. They hold the signs for the cafe, hand out flyers, advertise, talk about and show you the location and take you there if you go. Alot of these shops can be tiny or out of the main busy streets or in an upper floor of a building so its hard to find or spot them. So that's why advertising on the street is important for these places to be found and to get customers. Or just to get customers in general as you have competition or people don't know about your little cafe. So they send out a maid to advertise and once the maid brings a customer in she is either going to do her job and be your maid there when your there or she'll have the other maids attend you while she goes back out to advertise.

Many men will not have contact with the opposite sex in the form of a relationship in their entire lives. For some men this commercial business activity may slightly ease the mental suffering caused by the situation. It is also important to take care that Maid girls are not exploited in any way. @@Canal414-d9j Only the capitalists think there's a birth crisis. Capitalism depends on a pyramid scheme of ever-increasing populations. Japan is overpopulated. Of course people aren't having kids, where are they supposed to live? The last 2 generations have already experienced this firsthand. Foreigners think capsule hotels are cute and unique -- but consider what that says about the situation. Overpopulation drives land prices to insane levels. Japan is about the size of California with 5 times the population. And much of the interior is uninhabitable due to the Japanese Alps on Honshu, volcanoes in Kyushu, and extreme cold in Hokkaido (they get twice as much snow as Madison WI).

@Fate8628 ай бұрын
There is a difference between a hostess bar and maid cafe so not too hard to tell. Also yes there are a select few but this is hardly ever and issue or problem. Look and go over the menu and read. There is a reason why this mostly just works with hostess bars and not maid cafes as with hostess bars you can buy liquor, you can get the girl drinks, they have security, big prices, and so on. Maid cafes its abit more cut and dry what's what. As for the commission well they are bringing in customers they wouldn't have had on some of these I'm sure others just do it because they have none of few and just want to bring in business. I worked at a maid cafe. I got no commission and we just went out holding signs to get people to come as it was part of the job. It was in the west though but still the concept and way of doing things was modeled after the japanese ones that the owner went to japan and researched on. Commission isn't always thing just depends on the cafe as some are smaller, others are bigger and all of them are different.

Japanese people are very private and shy people. They aren't very social people unless its their job of course. Otherwise its why they are quiet and reserved people and enjoy their privacy and space. I prefer it the way japan has their people hide or be shy and look away or cover their face like even some of the men passing by in the video did, as where in the west people get angry and aggressive about recording. Some were fine with being recorded, afew less shy people, more outgoing and willing to be seen. Also forgot they do take pictures with customers in the cafe for a small fee so there is that too.

Even if a maid cafe is "fake," the maid will do her best to give you a fun time, and many of them genuinely enjoy entertaining their customers. Many people do a hard days work to come home to an empty apartment. Going into a maid cafe just to sit down and talk about the latest anime you watched with a cute girl who will listen and talk about it with you can be refreshing. Yes, talking with the cute girl at the maid cafe will never escalate into a real relationship. But many of these people feel they will never be able to achieve a real relationship anyway.

Its like going to Disneyworld or SuperMario world or anywhere fun. You see all these people in costumes like Mickey, Donald, Cinderella, Belle, Mario, Princess Peach and so on. Be it a kid or adult people have that child at heart and want a good time and to have fun and smile to get away from the stress. Its the same with maid cafes or butler cafes. You have a maid or butlers attend to you as their master in a fantasy where you are happily welcomed home, they bring you your order, draw on it, cast magic spells, and happily talk to you cutely nad joyfully. They perform songs and dance from an anime or idol group and play games with you. Your there to enjoy yourself just like any other place and feel special/catered to. People of all ages go to maid cafes men and women but you tend to see men there abit more because they are stressed from work and want to feel joyful. Not like going to a bar and wallow or de-stress in booze which of course people still do. For others the outlet is I want to feel happy. I'm a grown adult and I enjoy the thought of going to Supermario world for a nice time just as I am interested to go to a maid cafe for a nice time. I've worked at a maid cafe before and its always nice to see all the smiles I put on peoples faces. Its fun for both parties and this was in the USA. So people here in the west really want that too. I had kids all the way up to even an eldery couple sit at my table it was such a fun time even as the worker. Best job ever. Someday I want to go to a maid cafe in japan as a customer.

@@adityagaming3174 For the type of fun you are looking for, ask the maids or guys that sometimes are with the maids, that speak some English about what you're looking for, within a couple of hours they point you the right direction. Me and some friends went to a fancy massage parlor in Azabu, Minato in Tokyo. Jokingly but seriously my friend asked the staff in the front about 5 women if they knew of place where you can get "other" types of massages. I was very embarrassed because it was a very expensive and fancy place that would give any place a run for it's money and they all felt embarrassed, we left. While waiting outside a girl working there came out and told us where to go. Typically those places aren't the places with girls promoting the club, out in the street like these actual maid cafes workers you see on these videos. But from my understanding when you're referred, they might something like "Tell them that Akari told about this place." (They get a cut) if they think you're too dumb they might tell to take a picture of the sign they carry and their "name" . Might not be there real name. You get asked once you get there, usually by Yakuza with an attitude. They lead you to some doors, up and down a building, that's totally normal. And that's it. My friend did the same thing in Hiroshima and it was similar.
