We visited Dusseldorf two years ago, many homeless people in the city and around railway stations. A dirty big city on the Rhein river.

To me, many other bigger German cities are way worse than Düsseldorf.

Looks like you exited the wrong side of the Düsseldorf Main station. One side is with Busses and Tram. The other side is the Place of Homeless People and Junkies for decades. The City is constantly trying to get them from the Streets but its not possible. You dont really see that many Homeless people in Düsseldorf. Most are around the Düsseldorf Main Station.. Sadly
