Hey Andy, an Aussie here, can you do a video on barbecuing some tougher cuts of beef, I'm trying to start bbqing, but I can't afford some of the pricier cuts
@Nelson126502 сағат бұрын
Plot twist, Andy flies you out and gets you every cut of beef !!!
@iamdavelee2 сағат бұрын
Low and slow!
@MsHolley3502 сағат бұрын
Most tough cuts arent for bbqing unless they're minced, sausages or low n slow smoked. Some cheaper cuts can tolerate high heat cooking if they're sliced thinly, marinated & cooked fast.

You could try marinade it in pineapple juice before grilling, will soften the meat

Why I love watching Andy; He says the root of why things are done. Been cooking for years, never heard a better explanation of why to partially submerge the product you're frying in oil. Thank you for keeping nerds learning!

Tastiest hotdogs I have ever had came from a 7eleven in Japan. I couldn't stop eating them, didn't help that 7eleven was at my doorstep.

There's just something about fried convenience store/gas station foods that's so good. Here in the US, it doesn't matter where I've been, but the two things that are always so delicious in any gas station are potato wedges and chimichangas. Even back 20+ years ago, when I was in school, I used to walk over to this gas station off campus and get chimichangas and potato wedges.

pretty interesting. i have a friend who often cooks japanese dishes and the fried things like karaage and similar are always good. i live in south italy and often my mom used to cook carrots, potatoes, onions, celery and spices in water to have a rich broth. often split the excess broth to make a more condensed sauce with vegetables inside. Thanks Andy to reminds me of it, i'd love to try what she did. She died 2 months ago at 73 y.o. This memory you made me remember is a precious one. Thanks

Literally every morning of my Japan trip earlier this year started with a coffee and a fried chicken from whichever local conbini was closest wherever we were staying at the time. Not a healthy way to live but man was it delicious.

As kids in the 90s, my chunky friend and I would walk down to the Sun Mart gas station/convenience store at about midnight, just as they were about to throw away the remainder of the days questionable hot box fried food, and score as much of it as possible for next to free. Then we'd pull a crusty hot-box fueled all-nighter to play video games. I don't know how we survived, but we always had a good time 😅.

What do you expect... Most of the east coast Aussie convi stores are serving a weird mix of highly processed & over priced prepackaged sh*t...
