I never liked bloomin onions, until I worked at Lonestar and had to crank out 100s of "Texas Rose"s a night. They are such a pain in the arse to make and fall apart or too many petals stick together and you have to start over. So, I refuse to order it, but if someone does I eat it out of respect for the poor linecook who had to make it.
