I've actually found that if you take a couple rounds more than the ready rack, it puts the rounds at the bottom of the front hull fuel tank. From experience, when your fuel tank is hit, and there's ammo inside of it, the fuel tank doesn't explode (unless the ammo is hit directly), but when there's no ammo in it and you're hit there, it explodes more often then now. I usually take 24 rounds (18+1+5) which gives me a nice reserve if my ammo cooks off (blow out panels) but minimizes the profile in the hull.

While I do love the Type 90s, it does kinda annoy me how many one death leavers there are now, despite the 20 backups. I mean, I guess the backups don’t last that long though. I do hope that, since Japan is getting quite a bit of attention right now, that they fix the Type 10’s model. Its got quite a bit wrong with it, I don’t really care about the missing armor, but its mobility really sucks when compared to its predecessor.

It wouldn’t be half bad if the suspension didn’t clip into nothing on the ground like it does I drive over a slight bump and come to a complete stop like you said the armor is whatever it’s amazing even with the no armor and bullshit mobility/suspension but if there is only one thing to get fixed I hope it’s the god awful vertical and horizontal gun handling speeds there are so many fucking engagements I could have won vs 3 or more tanks if it was on par with literally everyone else I’d say that tends to get me killed 90 percent of the time

I do love the Type 90s despite their flaws, on the rare downtier it basically lets you just perform crowd control on any number of enemies pushing you, while at br or in uptier you get to be a very lethal assassin on the flank. Is always good fun.

The Type-90's armor is aight, but nothing spectacular. It mainly shines in downtiers. The turret has about the same overall kinetic protection as M1IP/M1A1, so the cheeks will usually stop 125mm 3BM42, even if the mantlet is a rather large weak spot, and the chemical protection is weaker than Abrams for all composites. The hull is also about as protected as Abrams in practice with the main block ranging between 350-450mm KE and 450-600mm CE (Abrams is 390-410mm KE with 700-750mm CE). UFP is angled enough to bounce rounds about as often as Abrams' UFP does, though again, it's not exactly reliable. Best advantage of the Type 90 was always the crazy fast reload rate paired with the hydro-pneumatic suspension. That thing is a damn demon on hills or when played as a pair on coms. It matters not how shit your armor is if you kill everything before they can build momentum

3% off a 300 million yen tank isnt that much of a discount :( Also remember the tank has less armor due to being a defensive tank for Japan. They wanted to make sure it could traverse the mountainous regions of Japan and still be some what light enough to cross the bridges which is apparently cited to be only able to go over 60% of them. Also the best anime is Legend of the Galactic Heroes.

I can't say just yet, radar missiles are pretty rare to see in GRB. And given the size of the maps, I doubt they'll play a significant role.

Bro i play 7.0-8.3 Germany, France and Italy and i only get uptiers which is sooo cancer since none of them but the SPAA and certain light tanks have a Stab or APFSDS.... They Really Need to Change BRs.... Worst thing is that the OF40/Leo 1/M48s cant even fight its own BR since T62s and T55s have APFSDS and a stab plus great armour....
