Thank you for showing me something that’s completely outside of my comfort zone. This is a quote from Anthony Bourdain “Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.” (I think that quote would fit you well).

Thanks for sharing the quote with me. I agree with what he said and his travel philosophy. It is pretty much in line with my travel style. I am passionate about exploring the unknown world though sometimes it requires me step out of comfort zone. I‘m fine with it as long as it‘s worth it. I always remind myself “you only live once, so live it to the fullest” 😃

This reminds me of China in early 80s. The only difference? Indians were playing on the cell phone while Chinese (I met) were studying linear Algebra overnight on a moving train. I remember me and my wife refused to eat or drink anything that did not come out of a shell (eggs) or a can (coca-cola, very hard to find). LOL I love seeing how China has become a modern country, much better than the third world USA. LOL
