Unfortunately since he changed the mouthpiece it is no longer the same. The sound he had with the old mouthpiece and the old trumpet was much better. It's hard to understand how he doesn't realize this

The voice, sound is the same I heard at a show at a small Oregon college before COVID. The difference between his old equipment and this is a more fluid and assertive range. Looks like less effort involved as well, always welcome to those who chose such a difficult instrument to make real their art.
