I was very very fortunate when I was a kid to get a chance to race with real guys in racing cars / touring cars. As my father did small Ford Fiesta Cup as a hobby after 14 years of age it opened some racing doors for me. Listen to my short version of the story :)

I don’t know if anyone is going to see my comment. But. I don’t care. I’m 17, I started rental karting at the end of June. Throughout the summer in my free time I was at the track, and pushed myself to the 32nd fastest time. Just recently, on monday I got a chance to try out a Rotax Max EVO 125 DD2? Kart. There are 3 track layouts. The races are usually held on V1, I drove on V3 which is about 3 seconds slower in these karts in perfect conditions. Race pace on the V1 is 52s, so V3 is about 54-55s + it was windy and 12°C outside the whole day. I mamaged to clock in a 58.98 on my 4th 15 minute session. I hope to get better and advance further up in racing. I found out about you a couple months before you raced with Jimmy in the Mintzilla at Mt. Panorama. You motivate me with everything you do, your will to keep going. I agree with everything Storm Apex said in his comment. After long days, when I tuned into your streams you always managed to cheer me up. Thank you for everything Jaro! You have the heart of a lion and a very powerful mindset! Its sad that you went into that dark time, but now you help not only yourself, but also every single member on your channel and discord. Because your streams and smile, bringes everyone to joy. The many years i've followed you, i've seen your channel grow, i've seen you grow into a much better driver, and i've seen this community of yours grow into imo the best community in simracing. Its kinda grown into a "small" family, where we all laugh and have fun. I do find it hard to live without this community now, its become a part of me aswell, without you i would not be the driver and person i am today, you have changed my life soo much. That’s why I have a lot of respect for devs making sim games like these. Always wanted to be a pilot, took a few lessons as a teenager which was hundreds of dollars. Once I realized the amount of hours you need in the air and how much that would cost with fuel alone I knew it was never going to happen. Old flight sims were fun but nothing could match the real thing, until one day I fired up DCS World. Had to do weeks of studying to figure out the basics, what every switch did, etc but the insane detail and level of simulation blew my mind. The accuracy of newer sim games is amazing, it’s letting people live their dreams.

that is one of the reasons i love simracing, it's very affordable and approachable. Whenever asks why would anyone invest decent amount into sim racing and not go real racing i always say it's still significantly cheaper than irl racing and much more comfortable as well. Real racing is just a money pit and you either have money for it or you dont there is no in-between. Both aspects have it's strengths and weaknesses, but i genuinely think that in these times sim racing can be valid way to start your career, besides kart racing.

im 18, turning 19 soon and going to finish school in about half a year. I have no idea what i want to do to be honest. I absolutely love racing, but i've never had experience. But stories like this make me a little bit confident in myself because of how much time in life you actually have. Todays society pushes you so much to go to work as early as possible, but there is so much time in life to pursuit what you want. In just 10 years jardier turned his life around and look where he is now. Amazing story :)

i can relate to you so much. i want to become a pilot and aviation academies in india are very expensive which my parents cant afford. so im living with the same hope to focus on some other career and collect enough money to get into one of the academy.... and yeah you really taught us a lesson never to trust someone completely apart from your parents
