Right here at NRG is where I saw JJN for the very first time many years ago!! Nobody knew him! He was playing a LP JR in a group with 4 other cats, and just tearing it up!! Good on him for all he has accomplished since!!! 8) --gary

I was Blessed to have a front row seat watching Jared. About 5 or 6 years ago at the Lebanon Opera House in NH. What a player! So much big, Monster sound from a very simple but powerful rig. He's got it all. I could tell he really loved every minute of pouring music through his fingers.

I saw JJN with John 5 a couple of years ago here in NC at a small, intimate club. To this day, one of the best, rockin' shows I've ever attended....and I've been to a bunch over my life. JJN just killed it...what a 1-2 punch with him and John 5!

These guys are absolutely amazing! Their first performance Jared had a much punchier tone. It's nice to see the dynamics flipped and hearing lemmo with the boom. Jared said in an Interview in november that Zakk Wylde had in a passing remark called him 'quote': 'slow and sloppy'. Understandibly Nichls had a hard time letting this remark pass. Not yet possesing the physical prowess to take Wylde down at the time Nichols decided to go down the rabbit hole of vengance. His practice regimen ever since has been a perfect mixture och Rocky Balboa, King George VI, Yngwie Malmsteen (lifting hi own amps) and Martha Stewart (breaking out of jail). Much like Uma thurman in Kill Bill, nichols has ever since been stabbing, burning and maiming his way in to Wyldes inner circle, leaving ashes, bones and smoke in his wake. The end goal is in Nichols own words is to -'crush one of Zakk's F*ugly guitars between the bicep and forearm!'.
