+Jack Taromino You have to be joking... Rory was never for a second so self aware like these 3 guys. Rory was not trying to headbang or put on a hair show. Rory was at least 3 leagues ahead of this guys in terms of creating catchy music. This is just your generic old "classic rock" licks. I don't even know why he is so into that boring playing style. He must have really low standard for himself. Rory did not see himself as a rocker or blues purist. He just loved blues. These guys think they are here to "resurrect" rock n roll. Rory would have never given a second thought to that kind of shitty idea. He would have played for small crowd and big crowd in the same fashion. Rory also had a range of different style starting from "I fall apart" to "Philby". These guys are just at best a glam rock band... Rory was something else, my friend.

It's nice that you know A.) What Rory was thinking and B.) What these guys are thinking. As far as playing up to the crowd maybe you should check out the "In the Van" series played by Jared and his band. You can't get many people in a van, and they rock

According to the official UFO website, Jared is gonna be the opening act for British classic rockers Saxon and UFO. I'm making a 5 hr road trip to Vegas to catch the show. Hope Jared does this song or Mississippi Queen, since it seems like he definitely likes Mountain.
