this is what I don't get about method acting... If you're such a good actor, WHY do you have to spend every waking moment pretending to be your character? I'd be more impressed if you could switch between yourself and the character on the drop of the dime, not that you are permanently scarred because you got too deep into the method acting sauce.

Many of reasons to dislike him, like you can be a method actor and not take it to far but it most cases Jared has. Then thirty seconds to mars ohhhh man was i hype to see the at firefly 2014 but to my surprise every time the drop/breakdown of a song was about to happen he stopped the song and said not enough people are jumping or have their hands up (completely ruining the moment of build up) and essentially forced/begged people to do these things and when there was enough he started the song back up. Then the last 30 min of his set he spent that whole time bringing people up on stage, which is super cool but like my dude Jared, I came to watch you play your bands cool music at a music festival and you ruined so many build ups of your songs and then just wasted the last 30 min of your set to not play music. Yes i am complaining but should i not expect a band to play their music at a music festival and enjoy the music you made, which is all i wanted to do. After all that and his method acting I say in confidence that this Man sucks and has way to big of an ego

If the box office generates less than double the budget then it’s considered a loss for the studio. Production budgets don’t include advertising…and advertising budgets typically match the production budget, ie a $50m film would also put $50m into advertising. The generated profit doesn’t matter as much as weather or not the film “met expectations”
