How he hell did he fall to the 4th round???? Chiefs found another gem
@Nasirmah4 ай бұрын
The balance issue is due his anticipation of the ball, these routes seem to be not designed. He is getting himself open while paying attention to QB and ball. These are great with scrabble situations, even Kelsey does that when he catching and falling, as long as he completes that 3rd and 10 situations. Andy will fix those with designed runs.
@traxagenda34454 ай бұрын
Chiefs fan here. Not very happy due to his lack of yac. Probably can just be a Jason Witten possession catcher
@Yeshua-is-my-savior4 ай бұрын
I think he can turn into a pro bowl TE , he gets great separation and after he catches the ball he puts foot in ground and hits a second speed burst upfield the Yac can come when he adds weight and gets used to NFL defenses I think for where we got him was an excellent pick ! I wanted sinnot or saunders from Texas but I am happy with Wiley also his film reminds me of young Kelce , when he first came in league he wasn't a big YAC TE his first few season took him few years to get used to NFL defenses
@nicholas1044 ай бұрын
He sometimes looks off-balance, but his route running looked great at least.
@Yeshua-is-my-savior4 ай бұрын
@@nicholas104 im not worried he has Kelce there the next year or two to teach him all that's correctable and when they add another 10-20 lbs muscle into him he can break more tackles etc , this kid has so much untapped potential if Reid can unlock it all people look back at this pick and say how did he go in 4th . I've seen alot of football insiders raving about this pick and how he fits our offense and how much potential he has , before KC even drafted him last year ppl were calling him baby Kelce after watching film on him I see why he's tall , super athletic , good route runner he's alot like Kelce if he sees the middle of field open he breaks off his route and sits in the middle than after getting ball he slingshots straight up field for 10-15 more yards he has great instincts as far as getting pushed off routes and being tackled easy that can all be addressed by adding weight to him so I'm looking forward to seeing him play this year there's nobody better he can learn from than Kelce ..
@nicholas1044 ай бұрын
@smokedosia1723 I agree. There's no foolproof way to know if he'll be what the Chiefs may hope he becomes, but he does give off some Kelce vibes during a few of his plays.

I want him for the Giants so bad he’s a great target for an offense he’s a clear mismatch in coverage cuz of his big frame and has the athleticism to make some nice catches, he reminds me of Gronk a bit. Hope he can improve as a blocker but I’ve seen enough to want him as a 4th or 5th round pick
