every episode has additional videos to go along with it - deleted scenes and extra content (except for the first and second episode i believe, they only have deleted scenes). also, in the first episode, the creator shows the differences between bts and kpop by showing back to back clips and the different ways and rules they've been trained on and worked as rookies so keep that in mind.

I will say as a fan of kpop and a fan of BTS since 2015 this docu series really is one of the best things I have seen compiled together that really explains the workings of the kpop industry and how things were started and became what it is today. Not to mention all the hard work of the editor put into this and how it took them YEARS to gather all these clips and put them together. I would highly recommend this series to anyone whether they're already into BTS/kpop, just getting into kpop, or even if they have no interest in kpop and just want something to watch and learn about. The subtitles do move fast as there is a lot of switching between languages but please take your time with understanding and viewing these, all of your questions will most likely be answered as you keep watching.

Yes finally it's coming. I'm so excited. Just one thing when the members talked about their age you need to take one or two years off. In Korea people are 1 year old at birth and turn another year older on Jan 1. So for example V's birthday is Dec 30 so he was 2 years old on Jan 1st when actually he was only 2 days old. So in the early chapters a lot of the Vlogs were done in June so other than Suga and JHope you can take two yrs off the age the other 5 mbrs said. When BTS debuted in June 2013 both Jin and Suga was 20. JHope was 19, RM was 18, Jimin and V were both 17 and Jungkook was only 15 yrs old. Knowing how young they were makes everything more impressive.

Hey! I am Leila from Argentina :) I have to say I really appreciate the time you take to actually research and analyze the information. Idk why I like to see people going through the journey of discovering BTS, maybe because I met them in 2020 during the pandemic and I was alone and several times I thought this was fucking amazing and life-changing and I had no one to share it with. BTS added a lot of happiness to my life, I have several new friends but especially I overcome the prejudging I had over kpop, asian culture, and patriarchal stereotypes, especially in Latin culture. I am 28 years old and, as many, used to think this was for teenagers. The way this opened up my head will make me be grateful forever to them. There is a saying among Army's that BTS comes into your life at the moment you most need them, and I believe this is completely true. To add to your analysis, it's good to see the lyrics distribution videos after you know a new song because it will help you to understand who is who, which is difficult at first. Also, when you watch a music video, sometimes it's good to catch a good anaylisis video too because there is a lot of hidden messages and links to artist and thinkers that will blow your mind. There is SO MUCH content to see and it can get a bit overwhelming, especially with the level of dedication you do. But step by step, you will get it. This fandom will receive you with open arms!!

Rise of Bangtan is one of the best docu série ever ! Not only about BTS, but one of the best documentary about a music group. So informative, emotional, funny sometimes (please wath also the bonus scenes, et deleted scenes for each episode) , always entertaining, and so well done. OMG!! I am so happy you'll watch TRoB!! This is honestly one of the best. Since you are really into the nitty gritty of BTS, this is the perfect means to be educated with them and the whole Kpop. How it is so different from the western music scene. The best part for me here, is that no one narrates the video. It's based on actual vlogs, behind the scenes and videos that came out during that exact time. The way Aneesa put those videos together shows how much respect and love she has for Bangtan. She just want to tell their story to the best way possible, plus you get snippets of their discography chronologically so if you want to dive deep you can just check it out based on the timeline she provided.
