I've got white titanium but I'll point something out in favor of black. Black is easiest to match to a case. A black case also blends the rim of the case into the black screen. Having a big bright colored frame around your screen--because of the case--looks hokey cheesy lame. Trust me. So whatever color you get, figure out your case first, and make sure you get a black frame in the case no matter what color the phone is. For example if you go white you're already planning for a two-tone look like a white back but black frame.

The 'desert' titanium is like a semi-muted Rose Gold in real life. I ordered one and ended up swapping it with my daughter who ordered the white. It was definitely 'pretty', but I wasn't aiming for 'pretty' and thankfully she also thought it was pretty and we swapped as a result. If you want a pretty color, it's the 'desert'.

To me the color choice depends hugely on the case I use. I actually decide on that first - mainly on haptics but also looks. This time a got a dark brown, slightly desaturated rough leather case that feels awesome. Combined with the dessert titanium iphone this thing looks absolutely stunning. Most beautiful combo I've ever had. Without the case, I would never have chosen that color tbh.

They are all very nice, but for me it was between the desert titanium and the black. I ended up going with the desert and got it today. It is amazing, I love it. It has like peach, rose gold, bronze, beige, and gold tones depending on which way the light hits it. It like dynamically changes, it is pretty cool. Also irrelevant but I will be going caseless 100% of the time all the way until I upgrade again in a few years. Watched a drop test and the new iPhone 16 pro and pro max are built like tanks. Plus with apple care you're looking at 29 bucks to replace front and back glass IF it somehow breaks but most likely will not. As for the max though people will probably have to case just because of grip issues.

This black which has been designed to be more darker and metallic town previous models is super sleek and elegant on top the black bezels makes it a standout from the rest. I did consider the NT but believe it looks best without a cover which I would never dare to do. While there are not many cases that suit the colour Grey.

@ I had the Black 15 pro max for one year and never got a single smudge or scratch. I also did not get much finger prints people are talking about. If you buy a top quality phone case and screen protector it will be fine. It also depends how one treats their device. I believe the above issue is for mainly those who choose not to use a phone case and screen protector. While Fingerprint is an issue for all colors as they all have black screens. While white to me is a dull bathroom tile, and NT I’m just looks worn out and dirty.

Guys let’s be honest, this year the white colour is the best for many reasons. Firstly it glows all the time, secondly it changes colours according to the lights you have there and last but not least the frame silver is full. It makes contrast with the white colour and it feels so elegant. The black is the same on the side and back, natural has almost the same colour with the frame and it makes no difference and the desert titanium especially for males it makes you feel a little bit uncomfortable. So if you think a lot I think the white is the best !!!

Had the natural titanium 15P as I liked the fact that it matched my watch ultra but for some reason I grew kinda bored with the natural titanium colour. Don’t know why but it just seems very plain after some time. Now I did regret not getting the Max when I got my 15P so decided to trade it in for a 16PM in black as I never owned a black iPhone before 😅 Also people tend to think that the natural titanium is how untreated titanium looks like. It’s not. Most people go for the natural because they have this idea that it won’t scratch which is almost like an anxiety OCD like symptom. It’s gonna scratch as it’s titanium. It’s not as super rugged and heavy duty as people think titanium is. It’s main properties is that it’s very light. You really should choose which colour you like based on your gut feeling and positive emotion and put aside any concern based on anxiety. I know it’s also an emotion just don’t let it take over 😅

Anybody reading these comments or watching color comparison videos is surely going to get *more* confused. The best option is to visit the store and decide for yourself. If you cannot go to a store, the other best option is get whatever color is available online at the earliest. I ordered black, then canceled it, then ordered natural, again canceled it as I visited the store and found desert to be more vibrant than natural. White and black were not available in the store and now I am more confused. I feel Desert looks more premium than Natural. I will just order whatever color is available online (except Black). I think you missed the real issues with the new iPhone color options, which is that the Desert Titanium has a peach or beige back (which I found very unappealing) and that the Black Titanium uses a coating that is different to the other three options, which almost appears as a painted or applied coating, and not an anodized hue. This is huge, and in my opinion, it makes the Black Titanium finish look incredibly cheap in person. The whole appeal to titanium as a space age material is in its light weight and natural beauty when anodized, so a coating like that on the Black Titanium finish completely ruins the look of the material. I found the White Titanium to be boring and I don’t want a white phone, so to me the Natural Titanium was far and away the best looking finish in person.

My partner bought a 15 Pro Max in white last year bc he liked my white 14 PM and it looked duller. I chalked it up to the titanium material. I was very pleasantly surprised when I bought my 16 PM and saw that they made the white brighter again. Pretty much identical in color to my 14 PM.

I chose the Desert Titanium with a very nice clear case. Looks more pinkish than I would have liked. Does look good though. I ALWAYS clear case my phones and use screen protectors. If I knew there was a white phone, I would have chose that. No regrets though.

No it doesn’t. I’ve had black and blue in previous years never experienced any issues. It all depends how one treats their device. If you buy a top quality Apple silicone case and screen cover the phone remains in excellent condition.

Haven’t had a black iPhone since the jet black 7, which holds the title for the most beautiful iPhone ever. That said, been having white or gold, but as I use 2 iphones I had the beautiful 14 pro deep purple and the 13 pro sierra blue, equally great. But now after all these years, I am getting fed up with bright colors on iPhones. They seem to fire me up so I don’t relax much. Since the 14 pro deep purple I noticed that I tend to be more laid back and chill when using dark colors. I feel good with them, so I got my 2 iPhones 16 in black this time around. My phones are butt- naked !! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
