I LOVE this entire bridge section. The line “all that i am, all that i ever was, was here in your perfect eyes, they’re all i can see.” Is SUCH good songwriting. The next part is much better imo. “I don’t know where, confused about how as well, just know that these things will never change for us at all…” those lines in particular make me think of that someone and all the good things in life. This reminds me of the first relationship I ever had. We were 13 at the time. Fast forward a few years later--I was maybe 16 or so--I remember this song playing in the car when she fell asleep on me. I felt so much bliss. I was so alive and content. It's been years and I still can't replicate that feeling. She was the greatest thing to happen to me, but also the worst. I've never felt so much love and pain at the same time. So now, and forever, this song reminds me of her. Maybe not her in general, but at least the good memories we had.
