Well, I am back from New Jersey and we are back to normal life. As normal as it can be with everything going on in the world right now. I am getting ready for shabbat in this video, and we have a guest! Also, I talk about antisemitism and how it feels as a Jew to have so much antisemitism both in America and around the world right now.

Thank you for sharing your daily life here. I entirely had to get off social media because it was just overwhelming. As someone who has family in Israel, it is so difficult to watch what is going on there and also encounter such hatred here in a so called 'progressive' community. My heart goes out to everyone who is suffering. I truly pray for things to get better.

Thank you for sharing your raw honest feelings about this. I feel at such a loss. Where I am there is a Jewish population because there's a synagogue. I think there's a couple of synagogues actually and there's one of the best holocaust museums around. I visited often and to be quite honest I am. I absolutely flabbergasted that even before all of the Holocaust survivors have passed away that this is happening again. Stay home because you're a Jew?? In America? Many of the first hand Holocaust survivor stories that I have seen on the Shoah Foundation at some point in their testimonies they say our family thought something like this couldn't happen because Germany was a civilized nation and they wouldn't allow something like this to happen. Thanks for the comment. I know it was to the content creator but it’s crazy hard right now. It can feel like antisemitism was always hiding under the surface. I’m finding it hard to continue going to college and I’m only 3 weeks of classes plus finals from graduation. The silence from so many people when the initial attack happened was staggering. The isolation of being so far from an observant community is so isolating.

Everyday at some point I'm overcome with sadness, grief, fear for the hostages. I can't stop seeing the babies and children and boys my sons age. No child should ever suffer on this earth. I’m 55 and these last few weeks I have been talking to my granddaughter about what is happening, and explaining to her why we as people should support Israel and Jewish people. She is 12 and does not really understand, which I found shocking. In my family I wish that we never forget, it’s so very important to me that we remember the atrocities done to you all. The waves of overwhelming sadness are tough to deal with. I feel like as time goes on it’s worse. The hostages have been trapped for a month now as of tomorrows date. Yes! It’s a little surreal. We are dealing with rockets on our families cities and people we know fighting in the idf and so much more while other people are just going on vacations and things and it’s just a weird feeling to see.

There are over 1400 Christians (many representing at least 2 others and often between 10 and a hundred more) from up to thirty + nations on a 2 hour prayer call from Jerusalem with the International Christian Embassy in Jerusalem (aka ICEJ) meeting for two hours every day since October 7th to seek "G-d's comfort for all who mourn in Zion", as well as providing immediate practical suppport where we can. We pray also for the Jewish people everywhere .Our ICEJ President and Board have committed that we won't stop gathering until Israel wins this horrific war., it did not start. Our American Branch Director is working tirelessly with both contacts in Washington and the Jewish Community to show our support. I understand that this number is not huge, but we are sincere and we are all praying like Nehemiah with both a sword (G-d's covenatal promises to the land and the people of Isreal as outlined in your Tanakh upon which our New Covenant is built) and a heart of restoration for all that was lost on October . has we all seek to support the Jewish people in whatever way we can in our own countries. My small county Ireland is horribly anti-Semitic, which is truly wrong. Even so, several hundred joined with our tiny Jewish in support and love, firstly supporting Israel's right of defence outside our government offices and then walking together in unity to the Isreali Embassy to pray together. We might be a small minority but there are so many throughout this world who truly care and are grieving with you and speaking out against senseless antisemitism .For most who marched in solidarity, our work to support Israel in these dark days is ongoing. I know that the ICEJ is not the only group labouring diligently on your behalf. There are a great many more.All this to say, please know you are not alone. Many care greatly.

My husband and I moved to Israel work related 3 weeks after the Lebanon war back in 2006 - 2009. We have been back in our birth country since then and it is needless to say that anti-Semitism is big here too. Just last weekend there was a big pro palestinian protest close to a jewish neighbour hood as well. I don`t understand this and it makes me upset and sad at the same time. But at the same time I am not afraid to show my support and prayers for the nation of Israel and jews worldwide publicly. We need to stand up for each other and support each other. I'm in a smaller Texas city, and our community has been very supportive of our synagogue, even asking that T-shirts and stickers be designed with the synagogue name and a pro-Israel slogan so they can show public support. We do have more Muslims here than Jews, as well as a 4-year university and Jr. College, but no local pro-Hamas protests that I have heard of. We are flying an Israeli flag on the front of our house, and a Catholic man, who lives on the corner where our quiet street meets the busier road, has a half-U.S./half-Israeli flag in his yard. I pray that every place would be so loving and supportive of their Jewish neighbors. 🙏🤍💙🤍

I am not Jewish myself but I have been fascinated into Jewish and for many years, I have always spoken up against Islamophobic and Anti-Semitism but lately with the war, I am seeing more of Anti-Semitism especially on my facebook with some certain friends who I grew up with which surprised me and made me sad and angry. So I spoke up with this friend who I grew up with that I do not accept and not tolerate any Anti-Semitism at all because their posts were big-time Anti-Semitism and to my surprise, they unfriended me after I spoke up. They were supporting the Hamas side and did not believe that Hamas were the terrorist group - just simply blaming Jewish and Israeli people and all these mean posts. We have experienced antisemitism at Kadena AB ( Okinawa) before the war started. This is the first military base we have been at where this has happened. I am grateful that ALL the religious leaders and base commanders immediately took this seriously and they have taken steps to combat prejudice issues.

Hi , sending lots of love your way , we are here for y’all, may G-D keep protecting the innocent, things are getting worse please be safe , praying for your whole community safety , no one is safe my dad’s cousin is dead and now her husband is beaten up mercilessly and he’s currently in a coma he’s visibly Arab he own a butcher shop and was beaten up while he was closing up , in this dark world is really so scary to live right now , am seriously terrified of the skyrocketing of antisemitism & Islamophobia, my dad is telling us from a Muslim perspective how he felt during 9/11 when he was in the states for his masters he skipped going to the mosque for a whole year , praying for immense peace in the Middle East, stay strong and safe we need to unite and combat all form hate is really not okay hating on something just because they are different from us , I saw the cute baby firefly walking passing by the camera and it is so cute can’t believe he was just a tiny baby months ago lol, be safe be happy always. Know that there are tons of Muslims that don’t and will never hate the Jewish people. Everyone deserves to live without fear ❤

I don't subscribe to any organized religion but I do have faith in a high power. My support for Israel is strong. Other than making my voice heard on social media, I have no idea what else I can do. I'm so happy that your brother-in-law is there to spend time with you guys. Your children must be over the moon to have another big man to love and be loved by. 🥰 As for the kids doing walk-outs and protests, they are being led astray by adults who just don't understand what is really happening. Here’s a copy of something I shared on my Facebook page last week. 😢 Hannah, you made me cry this morning. Trust, there are some of us who would rush to be your Miep. I will be sharing your video from today to my Facebook page, urging my friends to listen. My parents insisted that I watch the Diary of Anne Frank when it was first shown on television. While any trace of anti-Semitism did exist in our home they thought it was important I understood what had happened and what much of the cause of World War II was all about. From that moment on I felt protective of my Jewish friends and Jews in general. I would often pray that if something awful like that ever happened I would prove brave enough to protect a Jewish family. One of my brothers married a Jewish woman in his early 30s, and I have a Jewish niece and nephew. They are Jewish because their mother was Jewish, whether or not they practice Judaism. When the massacre happened I thought about the fact they they are both citizens of Israel because any Jew in the world is a citizen of Israel. I am sickened and appalled by what is going in the world, particularly on American college campuses. I grow more and more ashamed of American youth and their parents for allowing them to become such brainwashed brats. I fear for any Jew right now. I feel anger for their sake and quite protective. I never, ever thought I see such open hated everywhere again. God help us all.
