Hopefully the baby will be here soon! I know when I was pregnant twice with my two daughters, I could not wait for them to show up! Especially when it got very close to their due date and I was getting very uncomfortable. I am only 5'3 and was all baby. I only gained with each pregnancy 20 to 25 pounds. Before I got pregnant with the first pregnancy I weighed 105 lbs and the second at 108 lbs. It looked like I was carrying a beach ball both times. I am having the best day ever and will have a wonderful week and I hope that you and your family have the best day and a wonderful week also.

OMG, my sister is so big right now. She wore the t-shirt I got her that said "Hello Baby" on the 4th of July picnic. I almost laughed, I know wrong, right? My sister is a little bigger than me (like 5'4, I'm 5'1, but I've gained so much weight on Depakote). I can't imagine what it would be like if I were pregnant. (Right now, I'm waiting for menopause. I'm 42. Chana, I'll DM you after my 2nd nephew's birth. I also do not share names. I ordered 2 pacifiers for my 2nd nephew.

Hi! I'm a Jewish convert who is currently 12-weeks pregnant. So far, it is pretty difficult to stick to Halacha as a pregnant woman. I have terrible cravings that include eating non-Kosher food. Not too mention my aching muscles make me lazy to pray. I wasn't born a Jew; nobody taught me about Judaism, so I have to learn everything as an adult. My husband helps me at times, but well, he's not a woman who knows everything about Jewish womanhood lol. Your video comforts me so much! I was terrified, even thinking of stopping my conversion to Judaism. However, I know God will help me to be faithful and I'm thankful for my husband and baby. Please don't stop making videos about Jewish womanhood. You're like my Jewish online sister 😆 I love you xx

Listening to you tossed me back to how i felt in those long last days of heavily pregnant. Im a small person who had huge babies. My oldest was 23.5 inches long at birth. Im only 4 '10". I agree- finding modest clothing is a real challenge! I have been practicing tzniut for the past few years and have recently started wearing dresses exclusively. My mind has been blown by how difficult it is to find modest dresses! I am at the point of planning to take a sewing class to learn how to make my own dresses. So sad and disturbing to hear its even more difficult in maternity wear! Who wants to be immodest during pregnancy of all times?!

@@Crystal11Skulls it really depends on your personal and religious definition of 'modest', and how big you get while pregnant. I'm a no torso having, short 100lbs at best (85lbs before I got pregnant with my first) woman. Anything that would fall in line as 'modest' in this applied context in my actual size for normally proportioned humans would ride up a full size inches when I hit my third trimester and was weighing in at 150lbs of all belly and top heaviness. Going up a size just looked sloppy, and anything 'long sleeved' looked like a failure to achieve a 3/4 look. It got to the point that my doctor had to ban me from anything longer than a cap sleeve with thin material, because even in December I was overheating so badly I would pass out. Having to be covered from clavicle to ankle wasn't possible for me in any context. As far as the 'especially while pregnant' dig, that's something that is a woman's choice. If you're comfortable with your body and don't have any religious restrictions, I'm the last person to judge you for doing as you wish, just like I'm not going to judge you for being extremely modest. Because it's not my body and it's none of my business, frankly.

@@pansprayers I just hear a lot of excuses from you because you're attempting to justify. No doctor would tell someone not to wear long sleeves. As someone who wears long sleeves everyday, I can say with certainty that long sleeves protects you from the heat, not adds to it. Maybe if you were to wear wool or something, but regular cotton or something? No. Of course modest dressed women don't bother you- that is the entire point of modest clothing. It's a sign of respect for oneself and for others. Dressing modestly for yourself is respecting yourself because if you value something, you don't just flash it for all to see. You are particular with who gets to see it, because you see value in it. Like your home. Odds are you don't just let anyone and everyone into your home- why? Because it is your private comfort, your safety, where you keep your belongings and take care of those you love. Why should your body be any different? Dressing modestly is a sign of respect for others in that you're not making others uncomfortable. As an example- I don't want to see anyone's butt crack. It's uncomfortable. However, once its out, it's hard NOT to see. It's the same thing when women show cleavage, stomach, legs, etc. I am a woman, and I am straight. However, I myself have a hard time not noticing cleavage (like a butt crack) when a woman wears clothing intended to flaunt cleavage. I am straight, and I find it difficult not to notice. So how is a man, who is biologically programmed to be highly attracted to visuals, who is attracted to women, supposed to NOT notice? To act like it doesn't effect anyone else is simply a lie. The reality is that you want to wear what you want (fine?) and want everyone else to be okay with it (despite their being logical reasoning why someone might not appreciate it), and if someone does not like it, you want to try to tell someone its "wrong" for not liking it? I am not telling you or anyone how to dress. But I have logical reasons to not LIKE how others dress immodestly, and trying to dictate to me what is okay or not okay to like, be for or against is absurd.

In order to try to tell me what is acceptable/unacceptable to think, it required you to read my comment, and make a judgement as to whether you think I am in the right in wrong. Then you proceeded to tell me how I should think. Again, that requires judgment. Being judgmental is fine. I do not understand the push from society these days to "not judge" (which in of itself is a judgement!) You and everyone are programmed to judge from the get go. Hear a song you like? That required a judgement. Arguing with your husband? Requires judgement in order to disagree. See a parenting style you dislike? Requires judgement. "That parent is ignoring their child, I think that is wrong, I do not like that." That is judging. Read a comment on YT you dislike? Requires judgement in order to determine if you like or dislike it. Judgement is necessary. It is what helps you to determine right from wrong, good or bad. But don't lie and claim you are "the last to judge" when you are literally judging. Just own it- you're judging me. Big deal.

It’s such exhausting work - which is why we call it labour! Interestingly here in Portugal the phrase is to ‘give the baby to the light’ (roughly translated!) and I find that really sweet! Hi, Chana! I remember that feeling of not being able to get enough air at the end of the pregnancy! That will be better soon and you'll have your breath taken away by that new precious baby! Good for you keep your babes with you while infants. People thought I was nuts for have our daughter sleep in bed with us but it was best thing for all of us. I love your attitude about all of this. I'm sending good thoughts and wishes for a safe delivery, quick healing and recuperation and a healthy baby. Good on you for making it known you won't be posting for bit afterwards. Hope you are doing well in the last days and hours until your newest miracle appears in your arms! I am new to your channel but so enjoy all that you share and especially love your kind giving nature. Mr Jar of Fireflies is a very lucky man, and after catching up on your channel, it was really no surprise he moved fast when you were in California! As a child of a Jewish mom and Catholic father we basically did nothing religious, more Frosty the Snowman than Jesus, but your channel and others are a nonjudgemental way for me to get bits and pieces that were missing.
