This man is about to get rich. This is by FAR the best camper build I have ever seen. About the only change I would make is to have a ranger above the stove to evacuate the air and control the grease build up a bit. I would also prefer an all electric build since propane leaks gas and can explode. I would go with a bigger trailer just to have bigger water tanks and a bigger battery bank and more solar panels. If you are going to use propane though then put on demand water heater for unlimited hot water for a nice long shower once in a while. Great job man! It's nice to see someone paying proper attention to the toilet because you can't enjoy being anywhere if you can use the bathroom easily and conveniently.

I've watched a lot of trailer/van builds. They all seem to be lacking in one way or another. This is absolutely the most PERFECT build I've ever seen. From the layout to the finish, just perfect! It looks more like a 5 star luxury hotel than anything else. It's just missing the corded phone to call room service. I think this design could translate very well in to a box truck too. You've inspired me, that's for sure.

I agree; this is beautiful! If you live close to a civic center or industrial complex, this trailer can definitely be used as a B&B when not in use.
@SethPortland5 ай бұрын
Yes very beautiful. I think the main difference is that most people who build out trailers aren't spending $2700 on a lift bed or $1400 on an AC/heat unit. It's nice because it has nice things. More like a toy hauler or tow camper. Those will cost a little more used, but won't have solar and even the smaller ones are not as compact.

2 things you may look into. Custom cutting board for the sink. To increase counter space. And make the burners lift out with quick-connect hoses. That way they can be moved outside and placed on a table. maybe look into a 2-burner Cast Iron Reversible Grill/Griddle to set atop.

@CorinneClassic6 ай бұрын
Classy as always Keon, from the colour to the entire concept and how you thought it all through from the weight to the side door, electrical, air con, solar, the deck, couch space, bed…just everything. NOTE: This would be brilliant for the government to create beautiful affordable public housing $15K and self sustainable. Also like the idea of AirBNB or having an adult child have their own space on your property so they can pay off their debts faster and start saving. Improvements to consider since you asked: 1)Bathroom: Make the shower smaller to 36 inches width and kitchen counter bigger. People may shower once a day (if that due to water capacity) but you use your kitchen 3 times a day. 2) Kitchen: Think where am I going to cut/ prep while I am cooking so maybe another place for a lagoon mount possibly or fold out? In the kitchen drawer, on Amazon there is a folded organizer insert that opens up like a fishing tool box to maximize space for cutlery and . Where does a person keep pots and pans, coffee pot, trash bin, etc. or can we put it in the storage under the tv? 2) I would have liked the fridge on top with the door opening into the kitchen versus the living room , also that big drawer turned into two smaller drawers and the bottom to be the hanging closet that once you open the door, there is a pulley system to bring the hanger pole up (Swedes have them) 3) put a low hidden step for the bed on a hinge near the door, making it almost seemless near the bottom of the A-frame that has the tiny plant on it 4) TV: a smaller tv for sure allowing for either some thin shelving for iPads, phones, books and such. Or a tiny thin rectangle window with bug screen like you see in vans that allows a cross wind so you can keep the back and side door closed when an air con is not necessary. Your choice of two windows right now don’t have bug screens and I wouldn’t leave open while I slept at night. 5) The deck: would be nice if there was a step but not sure how that would work into the aesthetic. Anyhow, your build is amazing as always. Can’t wait to see the next iteration. As soon as I saw it was you, I knew I would love it.

Nice and classy set up. I have a similar sized trailer I built out but has barn doors. I went back and forth for the back doors. But realized I didn't need as much space to park to open the back door with barn doors. I built in the bed across the back like in a van and allowed storage space underneath. My kitchen is very similar but wenfor the full width and have a free standing toilet that can be moved outside or i have a curtain that goes around it in the living space for bad weather. I also have a batwing awning that goes around the outside man door a d the backdoor for added outside space. I pull it with a regular van but it is made into a mini camper as well incase I wanna drop the trainer and do a quick day trip. Keeping them both pretty plane to look stealthy. Love thenlook, mine is much more rustic and made for one person but has a recliner to sleep 2 if needed. Yours is beautiful. I sacrificed beauty for more storage. Lol. Great job. I would recommend putty fridge on top of closet and more drawer in kitchen.

We can set the blackout at a level where no one can peep inside while still having light come in at the top. Works great for us.

I think anyone that has a trailer, camper, or any large valuable item should have some sort of a tracker on it. We had our truck stolen 5 years ago and they found it immediately because of the tracker that was on it from the finance company. I live in Ireland and am looking to move from micro van life to a touring micro home/caravan to continue my retirement adventures (I have several large dogs which travel with me at all times, and squeezing them into my micro van at night is interesting, hence the size upgrade). Your beautiful trailer popped up at the perfect moment, as they often do. I have to say I’m very impressed, you have a beautiful product. I’m currently looking at purchasing a locally grown trailer, so to speak from a company called ‘Roam Adventure Trailers, an Irish company who designed and manufactured here in Ireland, but I have to say I think your trailer beats it at every single level. Yours has a beautiful appointed internal kitchen, the Roam is a pull out external kitchen unit, yours has a full bathroom, the Roam has a porta potty 🤢in a cupboard! Yours has a separate entry door, the Roam doesn’t! yours has a big deck, the Roam has two pull up doors (an interesting design choice as they help protect you from the Irish rain while you cook:), yours has the drop down bed, the Roam has a pull out double (a queen I think Americans call it). The Irish company’s product is really really beautifully made and starts at a similar price to your starting point. The Roam would be fantastic as a day van, or perfect while visiting a festival over a weekend, or even an extended period. However, yours is just beautiful and I think I could live in it full time. I can but dream🎉 The only problem is I live in Ireland and have a max budget of €20k (about $21k), enough said😢 I wish you well, I have a feeling you’re gonna do great things. Thank you for sharing😊

Once you mentioned that it could be extra living space at home, you blew my mind.I can see some serious advantages to the trailer. I love the build. It's compact but looks super comfy with everything you need. After watching, I went and checked out small RV trailers. Amazingly, your concept has more in it for less money and less weight than anything else out there. I could tow this behind my minivan but unless I chose a pop up trailer I couldn't tow any of the RVs out there today. I think you have a unique product at a reasonable price that will change the future. I love the design. The plants give it a comfy home vibe, love it. Keon is you kindred spirit J!!! Oh my, to meet a guy as meticulous snd creative as you!!! The best build I have even seen. First class, minimalist. I LOVE that trailer. I personally would ONLY do a trailer. It will last forever.🤠

I am retiring in 12 years and in the planning stage of building a camper/van/trailer build. This video has turned my entire thoughts into a different direction. I really like your use of space especially the drop-down bed and full bathroom, and overall modern styling! Thank you

Well - great video as always. Today, I finally settled on what type of build we're going to purchase. Absolutely love the simplicity & functionality of this sleeper trailer build. Just need a little more room. Maybe a 18-20fter.

Love it. I’d rather have the mirror on the inside of the wardrobe door to take advantage of the light coming from the kitchen lights/window. Then I’d have the outside of the door for art. Also, I love my Mitsubishi mini split over the dometic. It has the best customer satisfaction/ reliability of any AC according to Consumer Reports. Rather than turning that couch into a bed, how about accommodating a recliner instead? I’d like to know what kind of insulation you use. Great creation. Thank you.

One suggestion to think about is to make the patio “floor” out of luxury vinyl plank. One that would look good as a wall when up but also durable when it’s laid down as a patio. Good luck!

The patio ramp floor literally looks identical to my lvp floor in my house! I was like, hey, that's my floor! 😂

I’d put a skylight (that can open) over kitchen area as well. And, recommend flipping bug/blackout screen 180 degrees so the black out part pulls up (like Winnebago does); allows privacy but light to come through.

Brother Keon that's one hell of a stealth trailer I'm beyond impressed I can't wait to see your next project. I'm going to follow you and go back to the beginning of your ventures and explore all that you have done. Super impressed hope your endeavors continue to take you to the sky! ✌🏾

LOVE IT ! Seems very luxurious too. And yes, the bathroom is the most important part, for camping or tiny house living without a bathroom is not that nice! Great design for tiny apartment living too, but then one could have a normal toilet and normal electricity and plumbing and a bigger fridge. Optimal space using, whilst looking like home. Great idea to be able to use the back of the trailer as a terrace. WOW WOW WOW

Liked one person’s idea of switching fridge with closet! You can still put a mirror on fridge door or maybe a full lenght mirror on the side door. That would reflect more light. Also, maybe 2 storage drawers instead of one. One deep, the other shallow. Corner shelf in bathroom? Im inpressed ❤️ Like you're thoughtful work 🥰

Idea... How about a bed like you have in the ceiling but rather than a wall to wall bed, maybe one that is folded in half over the couch and when it comes down you can unfold it onto the entertainment center. It will save a ton of head space when it's up above the couch

I love anything small with plenty of spaces that you can barely see, I am sick of living in a 1bed flat in UK that’s a mess all the time, not a dirty mess but we are both into craft things, husband is into making boxes starting from a serial box to fit jewellery, remotes, etc and I love to make candles, things using resin, im getting into diamond painting too, and I use my die cutting machine, also like to stamp cards, so it’s basically stuff rather than mess but sometimes it gets overwhelming. Watching this is my kinda calming time where I can find out what other creative people are into. Thank you

Keon, Consider doing boxes, for box trucks. That will save you the cost of axels. Love the layout, love the concept. I was considering building my own box (for an Isuzu diesel) for an upcoming book tour. A rolling office would be great. Think about it. You would have the same shop space, materials, and layout, but a larger market. I'll be watching! Michael Ben Zehabe
