A couple of comments for common questions. ** First you should subscribe as I will be releasing more videos** 1. most of the product questions can be answered with the links in the description. Please use them because they help support my efforts. If you don't see something then for sure ask I will add it. 2. The trailer is 7x12 with a v-nose 3. I did not put a shower in because we either camp for a few days where we can find water near by to go swimming for a while, or we stay in campgrounds that have showers and would rather use those. We consider it and I do plan on installing an outdoor shower with a screen for the back. showers use a lot of water, so they require a larger tank. We did 9 weeks in a tear drop style camper that had a shower and never used it, so it was a strategic decision. Awesome build. I would consider doing something very much like that. The major thing I would change though is that I absolutely have to have a shower inside so I'd sacrifice much of the storage up in the front for that.

I agree this was a very good use of space. Just thought your closet for jackets and gear was the end of the trailer and you blew my mind when you opened what I thought was yet another cabinet and instead showed a bathroom! 🤯 I think the only thing I would make for myself would be get rid of the two top shelves in the bathroom and make it a vanity with mirror for a fuller bathroom feel, but to each his own (and no kids so less storage needed). Bravo sir, you did an awesome build!

Fantastic build, design, and skill set! I would love to see more videos. I am trying to make a cargo van my home with 3 criteria that creates problems to which I haven’t been able to find solutions - 1. Can’t cost a lot of money 2. Can easily convert back into cargo van as needed 3. It can be left maintenance free for winter without winterizing. My biggest challenge now is finding skilled people to do the work I am unable to do or that can develop solutions. Your build has a lot of features that could help my build- so thank you for sharing.

Your bed/couch is in my design. I want it on a "swivel" so that the back support becomes the seat are and the seat area becomes the back support, allowing me to use my couch and sit facing out with my backdoor(s) open. Still working on that (ALL in my head or in my sketchbook).

The trailer is single axle, which by default means it should not weight more than 3500lbs. If it is indeed 7000lbs it would need to be double axle. Also, Tacoma’s are not rated for 7000lbs if towing.

Very much agreed. And more than 1/2 the owners could fix any issue or replace a broken part. Plus these items are mostly at big box stores throughout the travels. No need to go to rv specific place and/or wait for part to come in. This is why I am going to be building these full time! I think people are waking up and smelling the roses with the low quality junk, and high cost of ownership with manufactured rv’s (at least the trailers)

Awesome job on your conversion..Oh how i wish i would have seen this the same day it was posted..That is the most amazing conversion for a bed, lol, push a button waallaaa how did you think of that ?, all the wiring that must of had to be done?.Thanks so much for sharing.. I am in the middle of converting a Weekender 3 Horse Trailer.Much less space than a living quarters horse trailer..Insulation done. I have a deadline of Aug. 19th..Got the layout on what little space we have. Deciding between a dining table that collasps with a chair on each side ( have 72 inches to work with)or a table that is removable and table placed to make a bed.(which i love that idea.)was hoping to get an idea from your video , what type of hinges you used?..was hoping to see a close up when your camera person was showing yours. Couldn't see it. If you do another video on an update , would you please show more close up , also the area where the 2 benches can make into a bed. Your video will help make my decision, just as i was getting hope, i couldnt see the things i needed to see for our dining area to be built, your camera person did not do a close up of the area where the hinges are at the wall of the table and also wanted to see a close up of the boards where you placed the table board to make a bed there..did you use memory foam for the cushions? how many inches wide are the seats?Again, this is so amazing..Subscribed .....keep them coming

I have a cargo trailer with the cargo doors like yours and use it for the flea market. I put a 4x8 piece of plywood 3/8”thick on top of the swing out doors in the rear for shade with the doors open straight out. I am meaning to put like a couple of small pieces of 2x4 spaced out to the thickness of the top of the doors onto the plywood ( roof or awning if you will ) on both sides so the doors will fit into them and stay open straight out and stay there when it is windy. You, with so much ideas, probably could come up with a better solution than that so when you kick it in the trailer as you did towards the end of the video, when it was drizzling, the insides of the doors and the bed don’t get wet and when it is too sunny, provide tons of shade. You could put like roofing material or something to weather proof the plywood / awning / roof. Great video. One of the best cargo trailer conversions I’ve seen. Thank you!

Awesome. I did a very similar build in a 7 X 14 with 7 foot ceiling. My heat is a wood burning cubic mini wood stove which served me well at below freezing temps. For AC I have a window unit, 5,000 btu, which requires shore power. I have 500 watts of solar on the roof and 300 amphours in 3 batteries, but have not tried to run the ac on that. My most recent upgrade has been putting in a screen door and screened in back wall when I drop the rear loading ramp for a 7 by 7 foot window out to the world. The ramp makes a nice patio deck.
