Don't forget about the movie and Lars, so, that is actually wrong. Even still, that almost made me cry. Seymour's original story is something that will always have a soft spot in my heart. I am happy the movie retconned it in the end, however, the fossilization is odd and only makes it weird.

@ It truly did, but the emotions we felt for that moment are still there, and I believe that although it was technically retconned, those emotions are too beautiful to truly forget what it was that Seymour went through in that one timeline. We should just be happy that Seymour got a happier ending at least in that time line, aside from the whole thing with Bender.

Man there was a lot more time travel and retconned death than I remembered. Probably because it was one of the most intelligent writing staffs ever and every retcon had a logical rationalization so in actually it was actually one extremely coveluted continuous timeline so no retcons TECHNICALLY happened because things were always alternate realities, dreams , hallucinations etc. In every case of main characters dying it's just kind of a mindfuск watching it recalled like this. I liked what south park and family guy both did and just actually killed off a bunch of charecters in one episode. Granted it was funnier in South park being a serial killer offing long time background charecters, family guys was a lot darker (in reality because McFarlane only did it because his mom died and there wasn't much humor in it, if was just a corny "murder mystery episode " clearly made by a depressed creator and wasn't very good. Still it feels like Futurama had so much death when in reality almost nobody dies. (Except for every human alive at the time it was made but that was part of the original premise 🤣) still neat video

I know use of AI is not a well looked on thing. However, I'm gonna argue for this channel for that the video maker seems to do actual editing for some audio and clips. The use of AI to voiceover such a long winded deal like this is okay. I would much rather hear a regular voice over, but I think this is an okay use of AI for an educational and story telling use rather than for use in large productions
