Here as part of the 98% of your audience who are totally chill. I learned to ski at Snoqualmie Summit 40+ years ago. There was no cell coverage or wifi there back then because it was a simpler time with no cell phones! I'm just happy to follow along whenever you upload and cheer you on. Hope the fall lingers on the CDT and you dont have too much winter in CO. Cool northern lights photo.

Tune out that small-but-vocal minority. What you’re doing is extraordinary and the 98% are beyond appreciative when we get your much-anticipated videos. Know that 100% of your audience is invested in your journey and can’t wait to see what comes next. If we have to wait longer than we’d like to, so be it!

Crazy how many nights out in the wild 😂 Not many will go that much without a town stay..I've watched a lot of thru hiker videos..I'm watching a guy on the AT now that believes in the real stuff..not just the fun in the towns.. although I know it's a must to resupply..I just watch two other channels finish their PCT hikes with continuous foot paths...I'm sure after seeing this video and hearing your mileage your off on the CDT😂 You're doing great 👍 blessings and safe trails

I hope you have sorted out the tarp situation by now. You can't let yourself get wet like that. I hope you gave bought a new one if it was the seam and if it wasn't, or if you have a new one, I hope you have learnt to put it up right. You know, even if you use an ordinary cottin bed sheet for a tarp in heavy rain you get way more hours of dryness out of it if you put it up right and tight. If it hangs like a sack it rains through the first second. Water follows the fibers and would initially slide off to the edge if the sheet is put up tight. And secondly, don't you have any stuff with you? Versatility! Use your rain gear. Possibly cover yourself with it. Tie it under the drip to lead the water away. Sleep on your rainclothes and have ground sheet over you. Cover yourself with part of the backpack maybe. I have found it very usefull to have a home made bivy bag. The ones you can buy are simply idiotic. It is way better to buy lightweight anorak material and sew a sack of it. Dampness is the greatest obstacle to warmth. With the bivy you can have a lighter sleepingbag too. I should need one that has a comfort temp of 0 Celcius. With my bivy I am snug and warm with a sleepingbag with a survivable temp of 10 Celsius. So it is over all lighter and if there should be strong winds blowing rain under my tarp I stay dry. Thirdly, if you insist on getting wet at night at least get yourself a thin merino wooll set fir the night. Animal wool (sheep, goat, camel, rabbit, alpacka) is the ONLY material which will help heating you when it is wet. All of this said in a friendly non confrontational way if course. You are so intelligent. I can't understand why you had not fixed this already.

"I'm never somewhere for 6 hours" Has to be the comment of the year. Must be in the top ten comments of the year from around the globe. There is just so much in that sentence. 1, you are by now so used to constantly hiking that you have walked out if a stationary realiry. Without thinking, your reality is now moving. 2. The whole idea of us humans,a nomadice species, and hiw we became stationary. How? It is not our reality. 3 Everywhere moves. Somewhere is always stationary. 4 The idea that people in general cannot understand moving. Cannot understand that society is stationary and doesn't come along on a trail. How little imagination must you posses in order to be unable to see than moving excludes waiting? Do people forget all the waiting we do while not moving? 5 are you now the true "rolling stone"? Not "where ever I lay my hat...." but "where ever I walk under my bandana is my home"?

6 where you sleep and where a building is never overlaps. As if moving time and stationary time is not the same. You can't descend from moving to stationary in time to hit a building. As if moving is vast and a building is a pin prick. How to hit six hours wbere there is a building?

You are doing great on your journey. I don’t know anyone else that has filmed their calendar triple crown journey. I only followed a couple of guys that posted some pictures and short commentary on instagram. I don’t know how you are able to keep up all your doing and all the miles you have to do. Post when you can but don’t worry about your followers. Take care the higher elevations in Colorado already have had snow. I am following Kelly hays on the cdt she is in southern Colorado. Good luck!

As someone who does a fair amount of backpacking and long distance backpacking I can actually never rap my head around how people actually create content and upload too. I am sure it’s ignoring but don’t give the those people the time of day. Most of us get how difficult it is to do what you’re doing. Take care and enjoy your hike.

I hope I bave not been confrontational. I have never intended to be. I have been so looking forwards to each and every one of your videos. Today when I can home and saw 2 ( 2!!!!!) new videos from you I was over the moon. I made a nice cup of tea, snuggled up under the duvet and started to watch. I have seen that you are hardly ever indoors so I don't expect you to upload every day, but I still worry a bit when thete is no video for a while. I don't want anything to happen to you. I want to see you reach your goal.
