White ppls main goal is to twist the narrative enough to make it seem like blk men and white boys are equal in sports.. That’s why you don’t see too many unnecessary vids about white athletes that are disparaging and defamatory. That’s why every time Lebron loses a game, or Westbrook misses a shot, or Haney wins by decision, they try to throw dirt on their name. (Yes I brought race into it, idiots.)
@MailFraud182 жыл бұрын
@@PrinceInawRakah why bring race into it though? This is not opinion. This is fact. He did not do well at the combine and apparently not good at the pro day either. White people also do bad at the combine and pro days but that's not what we're talking about right now. If you feel that black people are ridiculed more in sports you may be right but it's because there are more chances for them to make a mistake. There are significantly more black people than white people in the NFL and NBA. Also, black people are not inherently better than white people in sports. Cooper kupp led the league in catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns resulting in arguably the greatest season ever by a wide receiver as a white person. Tom Brady is at least top 3 qbs of all time as a white person. Larry bird was just about the most popular basketball player of the 80s along with magic Johnson as a white person. The list goes on.

I thank God for the gift of salvation that He gave me. Now I have a wife and 2 kids that God has blessed me with. Please stick in there and give God a chance to transform your life. Only obj has been better while 12 other WRs were taken between them. Because in both situations, everyone ignored their work ethic, preparation, and understanding of the game. For anyone who is wondering, his 40 was 4.77. He can run 4.5 though. Either way, people need to accept that a 3 tenth of a second advantage in a 40 yard straight line tells you nothing.
@eats4cheaps3052 жыл бұрын
It absolutely tells you something. 3 tenths of a second slower means a guy can't ever be a burner. 3 tenths of a second faster is Tyreek Hill... you're telling me that Tyreek Hill being .3 seconds faster than the dB covering him means nothing?
@sheer_12 жыл бұрын
@@eats4cheaps305 the 40 yard dash is an indicator of how fast a guy can run in a 40 yard straight line once or twice, maybe 4 times if the dude is a beast. That's literally all it tells you. If being faster than a guy means you'll beat him every time, Stanford Routt would have been the most unbeatable cornerback of all time. Instead, the dude got beat by "slower" guys pretty regularly despite his sub 4.3. Jalen Myrick ran sub 4.3 and was drafted like 5 years ago. He ended up playing special teams and was waived the next year I think. None of these dudes run 40 yard dash speed every play, or even anywhere close to it. It takes longer than 3 tenths of a second for a player to diagnose and adjust accordingly in a live game setting anyway. Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitz, Jerry Rice... none of them had impressive 40 times. All of them had monstrous success, and burned "faster" corners regularly.
@anonymousperson30232 жыл бұрын
It absolutely means something. You really like to downplay 3 tenths of a second. Lets put that on a track field. 40 yards aint even close to 100m. 3 tenths can be the difference between first and last in a 100m dash. And even ignoring that, would you not want to know who's faster? There are other things to measure and scout on but is speed really that low? 40 yd dash doesnt measure everything so dont act as if it is
@sheer_12 жыл бұрын
@@anonymousperson3023 there's just a liiiiiittle bit of a difference between lining up, running a route and beating a defender that has a 7 yard cushion and running in a straight line on a track out of starting blocks from the same starting point. I played football and ran track so I know the difference firsthand. I would smash people in the 40 yard dash who beat me in the 100m. That's because, as you mentioned, they're vastly different lengths. 40m dash measures how quickly you can accelerate and burst, which I excelled at and 100m dash is a combination of starting speed, top end speed and endurance. My block starts were awful which is what lost me way more than .3 seconds in every race. "40 yard dash doesn't measure everything so don't act as if it is"... yes, that's my point, thanks.
