I remember watching this when it came out, as a novice grappler. I made it a goal to learn and hit every sweep on the list. With the exception of two or three, I can tell you 7 years later that I accomplished the goal. I still look at it time to time to rekindle a memory, or just realize how far I've come- and how far I've yet to go. Thanks.

Hello Jason, my name is Marcelo, i was a jiu jitsu practioneer at Carloson Gracie academy in Copacabana back in the 80', and also trainned with the Great Master De La Riva there in Copacabana also, on that time only six or seven people trainning, can you imagine? I can tell you that you are one of the highest level jiu jitsu fighters i ever saw, light, eficient and using perfectely the levers. I please very much for this uncredible video

As I have benefitted greatly from this I will do a quick numbered list of the techniques. Might do the same for the other videos as well. I only counted 50 techniques but it's possible the 51st could be found in the two "angles" detailed in the Reverse DLR section. This "such and such in 7 minutes" style of videos are great. Thanks for taking the time to compile them. Sometimes grapplers forget that there's a wide option of things for situations. We need to be reminded of the options sometimes to keep them fresh in our brains. You're awesome man.

I immediately subscribed after a couple of minutes in "38 closed guard bjj combi", this is my 3rd video, and I'm just amazed and grateful. This is what people are looking for! I'm practicing ITF taekwon-do at the moment and we apply BJJ as well as other martial art as part of our self-defence, just one aspect of ITF. THIS VIDEO IS SUPER HELPFUL! thank you sir!

So this is the video that I used to get three separate people absolutely mystified and facinated by (and then addicted to!) BJJ. The combination of beautiful technique, butter-smooth movements, rapid-fire yet precise and well-articulated and crisp narration, variety and organization blows the mind of every single person I've shared this to. People have no idea about what you can do with your body. BJJ is at the intersection of mental and physical fluency; Jason's videos give a glimpse of that.

Jason this run of videos that just have the clips are SO GREAT. I'm away from my instructor right now, and these are serving as solid refreshers and reminders. Thanks to this video, got a sick x guard sweep today while rolling. Was in closed guard, scissor sweep wasn’t working too well but the other guy was off balance when he stood up so I went around got my hooks around his knee, pulled his other knee and ankle forward and rolled him just like that, then got on mount. Super satisfying to hit a sweep in live rolling !

Excellent, I'm 47 y/o and have been in Martial Arts since I was 13. Jason, excellent and smooth techniques. A few would be cumbersome but in the heat of action, sometimes cumbersome throws off the opponent. Very nice. I rarely commend any modern day martial artists but you I must. Excellent!
