Jase nearly sets his wife, Missy, on fire while trying to figure out how to operate his new yuppie fireplace. He also gets reprimanded for not having the right attire at a country club, but he comes up with a solution to save the day. Phil isn't country club material, and he knows it. Is offering our kids $100,000 not to drink until age 30 a good idea? And the guys discuss why we should focus on impressing God instead of trying to impress people.

The thing with alcohol is this, I quote Adrian Roger's "The biggest problem with alcohol is the casual drinker". Because they set the example that it's ok, to those who will potentially have a problem if they ever start. When you set the example that drinking is ok you are setting up someone who looks to you as an example for a fall. Addiction is not a choice, some are just prone to it, and all it takes is that first drink, first hit , first snort, then they're hooked.

No, the casual drinker is not setting an example. It’s your individual choice to drink or not. Am I prone to crack addiction? I don’t know because I’ve never tried it and I’m not denying it’s addictive properties. You alone are responsible for the decisions you make.
@a-a-rondavis9438
@a-a-rondavis9438 3 жыл бұрын
@@fkillah You don't get what he's saying. Teenagers that pick up smoking allow others to be inspired to start smoking. Weekend alcoholics allow others to start drinking, not knowing the potential addictiveness and long-term effects of those things. It's the casual nature that pulls in the weak-minded. Same for other drugs. I do agree on free will; if you choose to not start, then you won't get addicted in the first place. But inspiration can be powerful, and will lead the weaker people to delve into that.
@fkillah
@fkillah 3 жыл бұрын
@@a-a-rondavis9438 I understand completely what is being said, your not understanding my point. Casual drinkers and smokers are not allowing this to happen. That’s a ridiculous statement. It’s a choice. What’s the solution then, to outright ban it? So you see your uncle have a glass of beer at dinner, so is he enabling or responsible for you drinking?! Illegal drug users will find ways to use. Are they allowing others to follow their lead then? Stop blaming others, it’s an individual choice. Personal responsibility, simple as that. Applies to everything in life. Not to hard to comprehend.

$100k to NOT drink. If one can afford it - it's a great idea. Science shows that the older one is when they start drinking the less likely it is to become a problem. And, the notion that it reduces the peer pressure from friends is a HUGE win.

On the whole gambling ordeal my uncle brought up a good point Sunday at church. If you lose and gambling you have a less than what God wants for you and if you when and gambling you have more than what God wants for you. God provides for us whatever his will is for us and to keep us on the narrow straight path. When people gamble that's just a lack of faith in God providing or addiction.

What a lot of people don't understand is when men condemn you for being in the grace of Jesus then I'm good with that I will never do a foolish thing to change a man's heart but I will always do anything to change a foolish man's heart to bring them to Jesus, I have become extremely aware of the presences of God I really at this point of my life do my very best to walk with Jesus, and when I hear and see what people do to get what they want from the government or from man I tend to shy away from it all, I see everyday how evil people have truly become, it use to be scary to me , but not anymore because I know with a hundred percent certainty that God is in control

It won't touch freezing until late this week, and will snow an additional predicted 6" Wednesday. The snow isn't something I haven't seen, but I've never lived in these current temps. That’s why it’s good to preach the word of God right, blessings, curses and all. You can preach everything in love to bring the fear of the Lord and the Love of God to bring people in every state to the Lord. Some just hear of God’s goodness but some need to have a fear of God instilled in them to make them move. I have preached to some hard cases and seen What happens when you stand and fight. When people decide to fight against God He will allow things to happen to turn them. We can see Exodus acts. I had a guy I spoke to Jesus about who struggled with anger toward his dad and alcoholism and he would get sarcastic toward me because he was Catholic and I would point out some wrong doctrines they teach. About three weeks after I started he didn’t come to work and I heard he was going to be out for a while. He came back five months later and told me he got angry and punched something and broke a bone in his hand and later got drunk and fell and broke a rib and realized he needed to stop drinking and asked Hod to help him. He quit for about forty days but decided to get drunk one night and shortly after had a dream that demons were biting, scratching and laughing at him and he knew they thought it was funny that he wouldn’t stop drinking. Eventually he quit working but if you don’t fear the Lord and call me evil when I live free from sin and look for ways to love God I don’t know how to help you but maybe God will glorify Himself in you rejecting Him like He did with Pharaoh. In Mathew 7:22,23 They claim to have done things and the Lord says I never knew you. I believe they never did anything. They never walked in Spirit and Truth to cause people to repent of following and obeying demons but if they had people would have been healed inside. Read Jeremiah 23:22 and 1 Timothy 4:1

I'm not preaching here and to each his own convictions but if you look at the Hebrew/Greek word(s) for "wine" there are two different distinctions. One is for "new" wine and the other is for wine that has "turned" which we know as fermented. That said, Jesus turned water into grape juice and a little of the same is good for the stomachs sake :)

The Declaration of Independence was written to establish the standing of a free people, but it is also a declaration of our moral and religious standing as well, and that's reflected in the Constitution of the United States of America, and when the servants of the people do not agree to, or with the Religious And moral standing that created this nation, they will not enforce or consent to the Constitution of the United States of America, thus applying their own religious-political standing by defying the Constitution of the United States. And this is why it states in amendment one in addition to the Constitution, Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. This is to protect the religious standing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States of America, that is the purpose of the First Amendment and to the Constitution of the United States of America so that the religious standing of this nation could never be changed, and if any should try they would be exposed by violating their oath of office. The Constitution was written explicitly to stop the elected officials or servants to the people from changing the Constitution without the consent of the people, and this contract the Constitution can only be changed by the people, that is why a ratification process was put into place so that no laws could be created or changes Made to the Constitution without explicit consent from the people, this is what is known as a constitutional republic when these rules and laws are applied, The constitutional contract is the limits of power between the people and the legislative executive and judicial branches of government, and cannot be changed unless ( the people agree) to the changes in the contract, any change in the contract by The government Entities is invalid and void for effect. The Democratic Party is changing and ignoring the will of the people which is the Constitution and more importantly, the Bill of Rights which were designed to be un-a-lien-able or unalienable which means the people cannot be separated from their God-given rights, that's why in the preamble to the Constitution of the United States, it states we the people do ordain, to ordain is a religious act, and in the Declaration of Independence it mentions the law of nature and of nature's God, so you see the documents that have given us liberty and justice for all, are under attack by those who do not believe in our beliefs, and are forcing their religious beliefs down our throats. They have performed premeditated felony perjury by ignoring their oath of office, Which was Deliberately put into place before Any servant elected or appointed can receive any emoluments of authority, And this was designed to protect and to defend the Constitution of the United States of America, and by not defending the Constitution of the United States of America, these alleged representatives have declared war on the American people, stating that they will not protect or defend the rights of the American people, and it was by deception that they took The oath of office and the position of emoluments, to destroy and Cause deliberate destruction of and to the liberties and freedoms of every American citizen within the boundaries of the United States of America, and full well knowing when they broke There oath of office It was by premeditated intent To do so, And at that time they took a stand as the enemy of every American within the boundaries of the United States of America. Any public servant elected, appointed, or hired, and those who do not stand in defense of the Constitution, are standing against it, and by standing against liberty and justice for all, is by definition an enemy of the people of the United States of America. Can 1 or all of y’all help a brother out in answering a question, since you’re guilty of all sins by committing 1 sin, does that or does that not include blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Either way where in scripture does the answer lie? Thank you

From my reading of the Bible, I have found no where that you are guilty of committing all sins by committing just one of them. Through the blood of Jesus Christ we are forgiven our sins when we repent! Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. Love your neighbors and forgive others.

@@cbecker4274 scripture teaches that one sin breaks all of the law. Point being if we rely on the law to save us we must keep it perfectly. We must be covered by Christ and trust in Him alone.

The politicians felt threatened. So in their minds that’s way worse then every one else dying. On 9-11 the government officials were preparing their bunkers. The every day citizens regardless of party were going to be left to their demise. The government will cast you aside to save itself.

I have never played golf, although I'm sure it's a fun game if you have good friends, playing the game with you, I have partaking in the spirits, but nothing good ever came from it, and it was in my younger years and at age 28 I had a horrible experience with the booze, and truly have not touched it since, I now am a godly man , I was saved at 48 years old 2 weeks before I got married for the first time, and have pursued God every since, my wife will partake in a glass of wine from time to time, but as for me I choose to stay away from it,
