It comes to a point where you recognize no one has it all figured out. You may be right, I may be right but we are in this life together. I'm from Louisiana and don't know much about the Duck guys and their politics. However, I am conservative, and I've been told I am so conservative I make Reagan look like a liberal...lol. I am also (as you put it) a non-believer. IMHO, We need to get away from the Religious Right label. I'm not trying to offend and not sure how to put it correctly, but I think we should take religion out of our politics. Having said that, I believe this is a Christian nation, and believe Faith is very important in our country. Christian faith is the foundation of our laws, our moral values, etc., and should come through in all we do. My problem is when (and it's happened in the past) members of the Religious Right go too far and feel they have the right to dictate how others live. That pushes many away from conservatism, and one of the reasons, I feel, opened the gates for Clinton and the socialists, and it's been downhill ever since. Not sure I'm getting my point across, but it's the best I can do on the fly.

That's exactly what's needed. As a Christian nation all we do should set well against our moral baseline. It's when our leaders believe they have the moral high ground and then set out to force it down everyone's throat because we're not mature enough to know right from wrong, that I disagree with. That only happens on the Right. Obviously, I know, because the left have no moral baseline at all, and have done the same thing with tolerance...gone to the extreme and are forcing it on everyone. For them, it's gone from religious tolerance and has grown all the way to encompass tolerance for perversion, deviance and every evil subdivision in existance. If satan himself shows up to your home and you deny him entrance, the Democrats will call you a racist for not letting him in.

Adam is correct in saying that common sense folks are attracted to other common sense folks. Taking all things into consideration, common sense is the one major thing lacking in society today. Do I wish his heart would soften, yes , but I am not gonna discredit the truthful things he said because he is an atheist. Most Hollywood types are just puppets to the “woke” crowd and he at least uses the discernment God has given him , even if he does not acknowledge where it came from.

I am a black woman and I love me some Duck Dynasty. Watched 2 seasons in 1 week because I was obsessed. Don't care too much for Ole Si and his tea cup 😂, but the rest of them are a real treat. I couldn't for the life of me understand how/why the left got so outraged at their existence or because Phil said he believes what he believes. It's like asking a priest to stop acting like a priest while still being a priest. You don't get to dictate and cherry pick how people can live their lives or what they believe. I'm willing to bet the people that disagreed with Phil were not even fans of the show.

As another Californian viewing how this state has changed, I agree with the view of all this being a bubble and do believe because of people like Adam and Dennis, who both still reside in California that they are a catalyst of change. It will take a while but I believe people will wake up. Hell, I did, I use to be a Democrat, I was always a centrist. but being around certain people has definitely changed how I think. These beliefs were always there, they only needed to be fed. I have always struggled with my believe in God, I still do, but I do believe, I do follow Christ. IMHO, this is because Adam is a human being with no need for artifice to be had in his life. He is an honest man, with apparently no need to advance a dissembling agenda of any sort. People like that - laden with little to no fear - appear to be functioning as outliers in this world at this point. It is sad, true; but I am glad people like that still exist and still have a public voice. This gives me hope, at least, to be encouraged to be this way in public, too, and without fear, at a steadily increasing level. It's good to have such encouragement; otherwise I might very well be 5350d at this point. I like this particular episode; Good on ya, Gentlemen.
