Amazing! My mom was a piano player, she passed away at the beginning of covid. As Jace is talking about Mia playing, I just started crying because I have felt that closeness to the spirit through my own mother playing. Such a beautiful way for the Lord to fill up our gas tanks. I wish they would video her, I'd love to hear it

My grandmother was a pianist and music teacher. Out of all her grankids I'm the only one who picked up her gift and I will be passing it on to my two daughters. Me playing the piano and teaching it to my kids means a part of my grandmother will live on.
@anj35959 ай бұрын
Oh, yes. My Mother played piano. I had the soothing place of music in my life growing up. There is just a place one goes as the tones of each key is played. No words are even necessary for the pianist or the listener. I would love to hear Mia play. I had my Mom’s piano in my home after she went to Heaven, hoping one of my progeny would show interest. I recently gave it to a Christian man who will play it and love it. I am getting older and did not want anyone having to deal with it, when I pass.

I know what you mean Jase. My oldest son (5 at the time) had cnl2 battens disease, its 100% fatal and it completely effects the brain. He never spoke, he could make noises but not speak. I got his diagnosis in June 2019 and on top of crying my eyes out I prayed, I prayed that the Lord would just let me know he would be ok. A few days later he said mama for the first time and said it until his last week alive. He passed 2/24/20

As Jace was speaking about how he lost control of his emotions, this saying came to mind. Don't know where it came from. When men want to make a change, they send an army. When God wants to make a change, he sends a baby. I believe Mia was sent to open up Jace's tender side and be even a better man. Mission accomplished. ❤

My daughter (adopted from China) was born with a cleft lip/palate. Her lip and first palate surgery was done in China before we got her. When she had her surgery here I experienced the same concern and empathy that Jase did. There was a possibility that she would have to have another surgery where they would need to break her jaw. I prayed that this would not be necessary and God answered my prayers. She is now at university doing great.
