Thank you to the Robertson Brothers for giving me the courage to finally take a DNA test and find my father. While I was too late to meet my father as he’d had passed away in 2003, I found seven siblings. Sadly, one sister had passed before I found them. They have been very accepting and very loving to me. I wouldn’t have taken that chance had I not seen your story about your half sister. I also lost my brother only a few months after meeting him. Your lives are very encouraging in so many different ways.

I have watched Duck Dynasty for years. I knew Mia went through surgeries, but I am so thankful I got to watch this and get to fully know what all she and her family went through. Mia is my absolute hero. I was in a coal mining accident in 2017. It changed my life forever. I have been continuously going in to therapy and surgery and not getting better. Now they have found kidney cancer. Lots of new tests and will need to remove my right kidney. I have never heard Mia get mad and ask God why me? Her faith is so strong. To think she and her family has been going through this her entire life. What an inspiration this awesome family is. Sometimes it’s just as hard to watch somebody go through it as it is to go through it. I’m old enough to be Mia‘s grandfather, but she is my hero. I look up to her. God bless this family.

It's really amazing to see how tough this girl is with the Lord on her side. I recently had surgery and was almost in tears because I was in so much pain and just wanted to go home the day after but they wouldn't release me. I can't imagine having to grow up with so many painful surgeries she's had. She definitely has the Lord in her to have that much strength to endure that much pain. When Jase got emotional, I know how he feels. My son has never had lessons, he was given the gift of keys since he was a toddler. He’s now 45, but when he was small, he would crawl up on the piano bench and start playing. I even have a picture of him playing, and his high chair is in the background! Even as he grew, he’d play a song God gave him (no words), and anyone that heard it would start crying. That’s the presence of the Holy Spirit. We used to write songs and go around to different churches that invited us and he’d play and I’d sing. The change in Mia, is the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit is present, you not only see the change, you feel it. 🙏🙌
