Thank you to the Robertson Brothers for giving me the courage to finally take a DNA test and find my father. While I was too late to meet my father as he’d had passed away in 2003, I found seven siblings. Sadly, one sister had passed before I found them. They have been very accepting and very loving to me. I wouldn’t have taken that chance had I not seen your story about your half sister. I also lost my brother only a few months after meeting him. Your lives are very encouraging in so many different ways.

Wow. Very moving. The love in all is palpable. What a strong women Mia is and has been. My son also had to deal with doctors on a regular basis for a congenital heart issue. Mia is my absolute hero. I was in a coal mining accident in 2017. It changed my life forever. I have been continuously going in to therapy and surgery and not getting better. Now they have found kidney cancer. Lots of new tests and will need to remove my right kidney. I have never heard Mia get mad and ask God why me? Her faith is so strong. To think she and her family has been going through this her entire life. What an inspiration this awesome family is. Sometimes it’s just as hard to watch somebody go through it as it is to go through it. I’m old enough to be Mia‘s grandfather, but she is my hero. I look up to her. God bless this family.

I recently had surgery and was almost in tears because I was in so much pain and just wanted to go home the day after but they wouldn't release me. I can't imagine having to grow up with so many painful surgeries she's had. She definitely has the Lord in her to have that much strength to endure that much pain.
