Yea we all saw how that went during slavery times. Everybody was Christian but still thought it was okay to beat black people to death because for not working hard enough. Nobody ever has an answer for this. Christianity is NOT infallible, in fact it’s so easy to manipulate that it’s basically meaningless.

This is one of my favorite Unashamed podcasts. I didn’t know anything about the Duffys, and I’m so impressed by both of them. Jase and Missy are so upfront with their feelings. I tend to think that people I have come to “know” on tv have a close to perfect life. They proved on this show that, like all of us, nothing in life is really simple. Thanks to the 4 Robertsons and the Duffys for a thoroughly enjoyable look at their lives! 🦋

I really appreciate the honesty and openness on this podcast. If I had to do it over again, I would not have let my youngest son have a phone, my other children were older and cell phone were not available when they were teenagers. It caused so many issues. I regret it. I also work in education and I see students exposed to things they should not be at a young age from having access to it through their phones. It really is a wide spread problem. Parents don’t realize it. It is sad.

I want to thank you for putting a good word out for counseling! The explanation I give to family and friends that need counseling is "Iy you break you leg, you are ok with a cast or boot, If your vision decreases, you are ok with glasses, If you have a ruptured appendix you are ok with surgery. So if your mind, feelings and thoughts need help, you need to be ok with a trained professional that can help you sort it out!" I believe everyone should see a counselor every 6 months to review where you are mentally, regardless of what others think! Please continue to speak the word that counseling is a good thing in combination with the Lord, all things are possible! :-)

10 kids and PLEASE GOD NO MORE!!!! Oldest 35 youngest 7. Blended family, His, mine, ours, and adopted 3 little cousins that were in state care. HARD is not the word for it. We came to Christ later in life so the older kids were not brought up in a Christian home, the 3 little ones are so now we have a HUGE clash when the older kids come by and act not so Godly. Non-stop correcting the older ones about what is NOW allowed in the home. SO HARD..

I just started listening to unashamed and been binge-watching so many episodes for days now. I called 10 different counseling places and none answered and none called me back. I found a Christian couple counselors and they answered and accepted us. We have been trying to do it our way and like my mama says only God's way works. We still have so much love for each other and wanna do it Gods way. I see Phil and his past actions towards Miss Kay are alot like my fiance actions towards me but he change and followed God my fiance wants to follow God and change as well. We have two daughters 2 and 11 months and I told him we must change because our daughters will think a relationship like this is acceptable and normal and it's not. I would wake up every morning and see my daddy at the table reading his Bible and daily bread and praying and I would think I want a man just like my daddy would fear and loves God and who treats his wife with love. My fiance let the devil get to him and I let the devil get to me as well.
