It also reminds me that we can be so service-oriented in the church and in spiritual like a preacher and elders and the people you see around the church all the time serving but we also have to remember to keep our priorities in tune with God priorities. It's good to serve the like you said pray about what God wants us to do what we need to be doing are we neglecting our family in order serving the church.

I am a proud son of God but what I have never been able to understand is why me and my family have had to struggle and suffer so much in our life. My wife is disabled and we have 4 children. I had a very serious back injury and surgery in 2009 and then I broke my neck exactly 2 years ago. I can’t get on disability because we can’t afford for me to be off work that long. I now work 2 full time jobs that don’t pay much,7 days a week 15 hours a day. We are constantly having our electricity turned off or our water or sometimes go without food. Both me and my wife are Christians who even after 31 years are still madly in love with each other but we struggle so much financially and I am limited on what I can do physically. If anyone reads this please pray for me and my family. I want so much to do better for my family but have come to the reality that death or Jesus coming back is my only hope of finding an end to the struggle of life.

many Psychologists and Psychiatrists have said that most of their patients really just need to have a good confession with a catholic priest. BTW you do not need to catholic to go to confession. After you have confessed just let the priest know you are not a catholic, but could use a blessing to help you with what you just spoke about.

Thats not what the catholic confessional is, its not counseling. It disturbs me how ignorant people are to catholic things and promote these practices. The confessional is to confess your sins to the priest and he absolves you of your sins, he does, not Jesus. He also gives you prayers to recite as your "payment" for your sins. This is unbiblical and should not be promoted. They have ways of taking God's power and distributing it to others, as if God needs help. My God is big enough for all things.

What I took away from what they said about the confessional was, it’s a great idea to have a confessional. I don’t believe by what they said and what I’ve heard from their prior podcasts they believe in a priest absolving someone’s sins. They said it’s a great idea to have someone to confess to.

We have to remember that in the Jewish culture the home belongs to the wife or eldest woman, not to the brother, or even to their family. The husband and wife both share the home in our culture. So, they make sure that they recognize that it’s the woman’s domain. So, the house responsibilities are her’s and so that would fall on Martha because she’s the oldest daughter. The house would be her’s even though she had her brother Lazarus and her younger sister Mary living there, that responsibility was what she was thinking of at the time that she was trying to get the dinner and everything ready for Jesus. I think we need to remember the cultural difference because ancient Jewish especially, their culture was so much different than our’s in America. The home belongs to the whole family or you know the couple not just the wife and if you listen in The Chosen when Matthew brings the Roman soldier to his parent’s house to collect the taxes his dad said to his mother, “your son has brought a soldier to your home” referring to it as her home. The same with Salome and Zebedee. Zebedee referred to the home as Salome’s. 🫶🏼🙏🏼
