Koran ou ye? Guys, this is not just Nigerian music. It is Igbo music, and Haitians have very long and deep ancestral ties with e Igbos. If you don’t know, research history. @Sky Net: I’ve worked with Haitians, and we mostly got along. Their mannerism, especially the women, are quite like typical Igbo women. I usually jest about it, with my wife. The less educated among them, especially, their conservative mode of dressing and general demeanor, look quite like Igbo women of their sorts - just like what you can find, in the villages or in the market places. A co-worker of mine, told me that he knew a few guys, that look exactly, like me, in Haiti. Where I live, which is away from Nigeria, Haitians, men and women, confidently walk up to me, in the streets, speaking Creole. There was this older Haitian man, that i, really liked, who said he used to be in Foreign Service, and had worked, in Congo. . He was very highly respectful and commendable of the Igbos, always saying that we are very smart people. He told me that the Igbos were among the champions of the Haitian Revolution against the French, which defeated Napoleon Bonaparte’s army, marking the end of slavery, in that colony, and the beginning of Haiti’s independence. Henri Christophe, an igboman, was the first president of Haiti. Younger Haitians that I meet, don’t know about this. It is only the older ones that know, and Haiti was the very first country, in the entire world, to recognize the defunct, young Republic of Biafra, in 1967, supporting them with a military tank, even though they didn’t have. much, militarily. The traditional marriage thing is quite awkward, the bride to be and her parents should have been educated and briefed about the protocols of the ceremony. There are many youtube videos that show classic examples of how the marriage ceremony is carried out. I felt bad for everyone, so many cringey moments lol. But I'm glad everyone had fun

Nice ceremony! Nice celebration! But what’s the deal with kelechi’s dressing? His outfit - is it Awusa or Yoruba? What happened to our own venerated “isi Agu”?
