@@JasmineGhee I am a former police officer and I stopped due to having a stroke in 2015, However God renewed my life and fully restored my body so I decided to go back to my first love which was health care. I was a CNA, EMT and a phlebotomist but I wanted more action that’s why I left the field in the first place.

I was able to do 2 assignments in Texas and New York and it was very disturbing and disheartening, but I felt honored as a Nurse being there for people when their family couldn't be there. I'm so thankful and grateful to God that I am still here.

i started off as a CNA, i was a covid tech and lived in temp housing for 10 months to keep my fam safe. i was a full-time pre RN student during covid. i also got my phlebotomy certification Jul 2020. i left and started working as a mobile phlebotomist. i changed majors and am now a pre PA student. i love all aspects of heathcare and have been watching you for yrs. i am so excites your back on the tube!

Girl, I've missed you. I'm currently starting back NP school after failing last semester. Thanks for keeping it real, I too battle depression and anxiety and I've questioned if NP is what I should be doing. However, I can't think of doing anything else. After having Covid twice in 2020 I feel that I struggle remembering information and still deal with fatigue but I pray for healing and continue to press on. After 25+ years of being an Occupational therapist, I decided to transition to trading stocks. It has taken its toll before the pandemic and we ended up actually leaving the country for what was supposed to have been a month, turned into a year and a half. Traveling really allowed me to work on me and heal! Interestingly enough every country had their different situations so we didn’t quite experience what was going on in the states. Good to see you back and know that all is well! Stay encouraged!

I finished EMT school and I must say working in a pandemic is alot especially since I worked in healthcare prior to this. Although am I learning a lot it can be overwhelming. Thankfully I love what I do and the people I meet.

Well welcome back! 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 Finished my BSN next month will be a year at the hospital where I am. Started out in ICU now intermediate care mostly cardio (which I love) and neuro (ugh!). Why did I leave ICU well another story for another time! I have been. Working with COVID patients and we have been so short staffed especially recently seems like everyone is getting COVID. As a new nurse approaching 2 years I am tired. It’s too early to get burned out. On another note the over time has really helped pay off some bills, but there comes a point where it’s not about money. Ya girl is tired!

So glad to see that you are back !!!!!! I’m still in The Neuro ICU and we have seen more covid patients with this surge than we saw when we weren’t sure how to treat covid . Still trying to work on work life balance “ send help lol” trying really hard not to be burnt out considering I’ve only been a nurse for three years . Still Love being a nurse though. I’m looking at programs to transition into neuroscience research but I am okay with being a bedside ICU nurse for now ! I decried not to finish my LPN TO RN program. I obtained my Associate in Art in December. I feel with Covid numbers soaring in my town with just finishing tx for metaplastic cancer in 2020 and having lupus sle it just is not worth the risk at 55 yrs old plus I am now a widow.

Travel nursing is good money but yes I wisssh people would talk more about the cons. Especially during a pandemic. The money is addicting 😩. Which is why finding multiple incomes is a good idea. So you won’t feel obligated to travel when you’re over. I’m so glad you’re feeling like yourself now.

I bet the money is addictive and I think if you have a goal and your lifestyle can handle it I think its a great way to stack money, but if your life doesn't work with travel then you feel guilty or like you are missing out!
