I think with a little less leave out, a smaller v section at the top it’s gonna be perfect. I wear mine a lot i had to do a lot of modifications to figure out how to get it to look like a sew in. Good luck! You did Good!

Have you ever tried a scalp exfoliant? There are several different ones on the market now and they can be either physical or chemical. It may help your scalp but research different ones to find the best for your scalp condition as you don't want to cause more irritation and/or dryness. There is also at least one scalp treatment made by Kiehl's that is supposed to impart moisture to the scalp; its called Amino Acid Scalp Moisture Restoring Treatment Mask.

As I Am has a bomb scalp oil for dryness and flakiness - As I Am Dry and Itchy Scalp Care Olive & Tea Tree Oil Treatment - I used this for occasional itchiness. Still, my boyfriend also has seborrheic dermatitis, and this significantly calms his scalp. Give it a try! Also, works great as a hot oil treatment but you can use it daily/every other day❤

The reason your vpart feels so big is because you had a lot of leave out. I watched a video because the same thing was happening to me. On the video they said to leave out a small amount of hair and pull the wig as close as possible to your part. I love your hair though, it came out very cute❤

your scalp may flake a lot because your hair grows fast, esp if it itches a lot. Also, oil is a sealant so if you apply it to something dry, it'll leave it dry. You may need a scalp pomade or grease every now and then, but nothing too heavy or too often cause using those excessively can clog your follicles. Maybe do a bentonite clay scalp detox too :)
