People who have never had the opportunity to sit somewhere in the country on a clear summer night and listen to a rumbling train in the distance are missing one of the most peaceful experiences in life. That lonesome horn seems like it's calling out for someone, and that rumbling steel is just so hypnotic. All I can say is I'm glad I'm from the country and live close to a railroad track. Southern living is just so much simpler.

Me and my boyfriend who has been passed 2 years now.. We lived about 2 or 3 mintues from the tracks... We use to walk up toward the tracks and set from a distance and just watch it go by... We just loved to hear the sound of that in the summer.... Such good memories.... Miss those days now... Thnx for sharing...

This song just makes me happy, it’s one of the ones that used to come on the radio all the time when I was younger. My parents always had on this type of stuff. I didn’t like some of it, but honestly, this song SLAPS. These semi-old songs give me a feeling I can’t describe too well, a mix of nostalgia and something else I guess.

She's a living miracle beat so many odds our family is beyond blessed truly the power of prayers 🙏❤️ unfortunately quadriplegic now and needs 24 hours of care and her being 33 it's been very hard for her to except and we're working on it with her.The injuries she had were unbelievable but nothing happened to her brain which was our biggest fear amongst many. I played this song when she was in acoma and when she woke up and right away she said this Jason aldean he sang this when we went to his concert😂❤️❤️ thanks for asking

i was out riding my dualsport tonight and i found this random dirt road, so i rode down it a while and what do you know it was right next to the train tracks and a long ass train came racing by so i turned off the bike and just watched the train and the stars, i now understand why jason aldean made a song about the night train.

Tbh people who don't listen to country think its just men singing about their break ups and beer, but it actually has a story behind it, like we all have a way we relate this music to us...ya' know...or is it just me

Just like corridos, rap, rock all genres tell a story!!! If you can put a solid "pull you in beat, and soul ripping lyrics".... you got beautiful music!!! We used to tell a joke about country music.... if you play it backwards on a record player, your horse and girl come back to you!! Hahaha... I love music, ALL GENRES

This song sums up the year 2013 for me, every time I hear it my mind goes back to my first love and the times we had together. As soon as the opening drums hit I immediately think of her and being 18 again. This song and that girl will always have a special place in my heart

I understand that. But the song takes me back to the summer of 81, I was 17 and I have to say I had the time of my life is an understatement. My bride says to me every once in a while, " really what do you think your 18 still"? I just smile.

This song is so relatable because my bf and I like to go and listen to the train in town late at night. Makes me think of the night he and I stayed up late and ran to a hillside miles away and listened to the train pass by, then went to the park and swung on the swings at 2am. :')

You know what this summer I had the best time of my life. I meet up with the love of my life well the love that was once in high school again in my 20's and now repeating itself in my 30's and we would sneak out in the back roads and park the truck near the rail roads and go star gazing together and just makeout and talk and listen to music and the kisses man I tell ya lol. But now its in doors cause of the weather but let me tell ya. This song will always be my summer song :)

A hell of alot better less complicated no fake friends....only friends who would go to the end with ya. Less stress better understanding who you truly are. More love for country family and friends. Fuck keeping up with the jones. Race what you drove to the track. Alot more fun. Woman who love you for who you are and not what you can provide them with. Plus they are alot hotter and less narcissistic. Unplug unwind and burn one.....NO FUCKING MAN BUNS. .... I feel sorry for any liberal city dwelling cosmopolitan...ya'll dont have a clue..... Join the rat race and get caught in the trap like the rest.
